I arrived at 5:15 pm after work today. I went to LensCrafters at the Oakville Mall as my optometrist is next door. A small piece had broken off my glasses, and I expected that there wasn’t much way to easily fix it. I was greeted by a very pleasant gentleman optician who disappeared with my glasses, returned less than 7 minutes later, and actually replaced the broken piece and charged me nothing to do it. He could not have been more helpful nor more pleasant. This business and these people are the best!

Pavneet made my eyeglass shopping experience genuinely enjoyable. Even though the store was busy, she took a moment to acknowledge me and quickly helped me choose the perfect glasses. She made the paperwork fast and simple, and her guidance took all the stress out of my decision. Easily the best experience I’ve had buying glasses.

Nicole was fantastic—welcoming, friendly, and very patient as we looked through several frames. She made the process easy and helped us go from just browsing to confidently narrowing down our choice and getting ready to purchase. Great service!

If I can give this store minus infinity point I would. Absolutely horrendous service and management team. They took your money in 1 second but refused to return it back after 7 months non stop calling and complaining. There’s no way to contact anyone, all they keep telling you is to fill out a form so that it will be taken care by the “fiction Regional Manager”. The actual Store Manager there has no power or influence whatsoever to resolve issues. They owed me $200 for the $500 pair of glasses they did horribly and now they didn’t want to pay me back while I already returned the pair. Absolutely ridiculous!!! Never ever ever come to this store/ this brand anywhere. They don’t care they just want to rip off your money for real!! And don’t trust their comment saying sorry blah blah please contact xxx to get this resolved. It will not get anywhere!! They should be blacklisted by all insurance companies for life!!!

Frequently Asked Questions About LensCrafters

How do I know if my child needs glasses?

Taking your child to an optometrist for an eye exam is the best way to learn if your child needs glasses. Many children who need glasses aren’t aware that they do. Signs of vision problems in children include sitting too close to the television, squinting, sensitivity to light, difficulty with eye-hand coordination, and avoiding visual activities like reading and drawing. To see if your child needs glasses, schedule your child’s eye exam today.

Is a contact lens exam different than an eye exam?

A normal, comprehensive eye exam will allow your optometrist to determine if your eyes are healthy enough to wear contact lenses. During your contact lens fitting, detailed measurements of your eyes will be taken to determine the right contact lenses for you. There is an additional fee for a contact lens fitting and evaluation for all contact lens patients (both new and established patients). Schedule your eye exam today to have all of your questions about contact lenses answered.
