Today i visited this store with my wife.
When we purchased our glasses, we were clearly told about a 30-day happiness guarantee, which gave us confidence to buy. However, when we returned because the glasses were not comfortable, the service was extremely poor.
We have been waiting for over 3 hours, and no one has properly assisted us. Staff told us there is no guaranteed waiting time, which is unacceptable—especially when we are coming back under their own guarantee policy.
What’s even more frustrating is that they continue to serve new customers who are buying glasses, while completely ignoring customers who already paid and need help.
This feels very misleading. A guarantee should mean support after purchase, not being left waiting without help.
Very poor customer service and no respect for customers’ time. I would not recommend this location.

So regretful to visit you store.. i have been waiting in store for last 3 hours and nobody is here to help even though they are dealing with with who came after us .. they said store is so busy and we don’t have guarantee that we can give you time Just because i feel some discomfort in my glasses that I bought from here approx 20 days before and they are still dealing with other customers who came after us and buying new glasses … They even don’t have enough staff and bad costumer service .. even don’t value the customer’s time. So disappointing never gona buy another pair of glasses from here.

I ordered prescription lenses from LensCrafters Bayshore on March 11 and was informed the delivery time would be approximately 2 weeks. It has now been more than 3 weeks, and I still have not received my lenses, nor have I been provided with a clear update about the delay.
As a customer, I understand that prescription lenses may sometimes take longer due to customization, but I expected better communication regarding the delay. When a timeline is provided, it is important that customers are kept informed if there are any changes.
This delay has caused inconvenience, and I hope the store can improve transparency and provide more accurate timelines in the future. I would appreciate quicker updates and better customer service when delays occur.
I am still hoping LensCrafters will resolve this matter promptly and provide a satisfactory solution.

Hello,
I am writing to formally request that LensCrafters honour the advertised price displayed on the pair of Oakley sunglasses I presented in-store earlier today.
During my visit, I was informed by the sales associate Ikram and Jordan that I could not purchase the sunglasses at the listed price because the pair shown in the photo was not part of the store’s current inventory. When I asked to have the same model ordered at the advertised price, my request was denied again.
Under Canadian consumer protection law, specifically the Competition Act (R.S.C., 1985, c. C-34), Section 74.01(1)(a), businesses are prohibited from making representations to the public that are false or misleading in a material respect. This includes advertising a product at a specific price and then refusing to sell it at that price when the consumer attempts to make a purchase.
Given this, I am requesting that LensCrafters honour the advertised price for the Oakley sunglasses shown in the attached photo. As a reputable company, I trust that LensCrafters will comply with Canadian advertising standards and resolve this matter appropriately.
Please let me know how you would like to proceed.
Thank you,
Taking your child to an optometrist for an eye exam is the best way to learn if your child needs glasses. Many children who need glasses aren’t aware that they do. Signs of vision problems in children include sitting too close to the television, squinting, sensitivity to light, difficulty with eye-hand coordination, and avoiding visual activities like reading and drawing. To see if your child needs glasses, schedule your child’s eye exam today.
Is a contact lens exam different than an eye exam?
A normal, comprehensive eye exam will allow your optometrist to determine if your eyes are healthy enough to wear contact lenses. During your contact lens fitting, detailed measurements of your eyes will be taken to determine the right contact lenses for you. There is an additional fee for a contact lens fitting and evaluation for all contact lens patients (both new and established patients). Schedule your eye exam today to have all of your questions about contact lenses answered.
What is the difference between an eye exam and a vision screening?
A comprehensive eye exam is administered by an optometrist and can detect not only vision problems but problems with eye health and general health as well. A vision screening is typically performed by a general medical practitioner such as a pediatrician or a nurse. While a vision screening can help identify vision issues, it can miss many important issues that a comprehensive eye exam can identify. This is why everyone is encouraged to get annual eye exams. Schedule your eye exam today!
Why should I get an eye exam?
An annual eye exam involves more than just updating your glasses or contact prescription. A comprehensive eye exam can also detect eye health issues as well as general health problems. Conditions such as diabetes and high blood pressure can be detected in early stages through an eye exam, and this can result in early treatment. Schedule your annual eye exam today.
What should I bring to my eye exam?
You should bring your vision insurance and medical insurance information to your eye exam. If you currently wear any prescription lenses, bring your eyeglasses, sunglasses, and contact lenses. You should also bring any and all questions you may have. Contact your optometrist if you have specific questions about any additional items you think you may need to bring to your eye exam.
