  I waited almost a month for glasses that I ended up returning within 10 minutes… — Context: my eye grade is -5.00 on the left; -6.25 on the right. I went to Warby Parker on Oct 28 for a new pair of glasses. I’m very particular about my glasses as I will always be wearing them and they are very expensive. I was specific to the attendant that I wanted glasses that didn’t show how thick my lenses are, and that I didn’t mind paying premium for the thinnest lenses. I found frames that I really liked and asked the attendant if they would work for me (as I understand the bigger the glasses, the thicker the sides will be because of the focal point). She said yes, they would and the lenses wouldn’t show too much as the frames were thicker than the normal metal frames. As for the lenses, the attendant told me they only really recommended the 1.74’s for eye powers that are over -8.00 and I could do the 1.63’s with my current power; I went ahead and paid an extra $200 anyways to get the 1.74’s bec as I said, I wanted the thinnest possible I can get. I even paid extra to get the transition lenses too. At the end of it all, my glasses were a whopping $605 dollars LOL My glasses was then ready for pick up on Nov 22. I came to the store and I was so surprised with how thick these lenses are that I thought they weren’t mine. These glasses were supposedly the 1.74’s yet they were almost a centimeter thick at the bottom LMAO. They were so thick that I can’t see the floor when I wear the glasses 🤣 I then complained and told them that the lenses were way too thick and they borrowed my current glasses and retook measurements and they said the new glasses were perfectly measured. But offered that they can try to make it thinner for me. So I was like, I don’t understand how you can tell me these are the thinnest but then say you can make it even thinner… like why didn’t you just make it the thinnest it could be from the get-go? Look, I understand my eye power is high and that it’d take a miracle to make the lenses very thin, I know the lenses will always be showing out of the frame BUT OMG NOT THIS MUCH. Imagine if I followed the attendant’s advice and went with the 1.63’s then these would’ve been even worse, lmao. Anyways, I returned the glasses and took the refund. It’s just sad that I waited almost a month for these glasses and they were a flop. Now I don’t have enough time to get new ones before my trip in December.

  I’m a frequent customer here, and I snapped my glasses in half. An employee named Alba helped to replace my frames and was very helpful! Would recommend.

  Very fast and efficient service on our recent visit. Someone was there to help right away even though the store was busy. We had already selected the frames before our visit. We were in and out of the store with a completed purchase within 10 minutes. With the glasses to be delivered to our home. The customer service experience has always been great here. As well, the frames from our previous purchase have held up well over time.
