  After a severe medical episode, a family member was sent home from the hospital with only a few days notice. Feeling overwhelmed as they were totally bed bound, Home Instead services were given to our family. What a blessing that was and they offered a positive and supportive experience. The staff was patient, compassionate and understanding to our circumstances. The office was on top of things if an employee was held up or if we needed to change hours and kept that line of communication open without delay. It was also important that we were compatible with the personal support workers that were assigned with us and they followed up with that also. Over the four months of care, we became close to many of the workers. A special mention to Jaskiranpreet (Kiran) Kaur, Mahima Saini, Julie and Pinky. Kiran and Mahima were here for the majority of the hours and assisted above and beyond with our family and to this we are extremely grateful. Their attitudes were always happy and playful, bringing a much more joyful atmosphere to a stressful situation and they had become part of our family. We wanted to thank Home Instead and highly recommend their services.

  I would like to thank the CareGivers of Home Instead Mississauga for their commitment to providing professional compassionate care for my Dad the past 4 months. We never know what challenges await us in our golden years until we are faced with them and the team at Home Instead have been a huge part in Dad’s journey. The CareGivers assigned to Dad treated Him with respect, kindness and compassion providing Him assistance , companionship and comforting support as He transitions into His new routines, deals with limitations and day to day challenges living with Parkinson’s. Mom and I would like to recognize Jamuna G. and Arshdeep K. for their outstanding and excellent care; going over and above to support Dad and being a huge help to Mom over the past few months. Their engagement with Dad was definitely noticed and we wish we could have more caregivers like them. Honourable mentions to Jaskiran, Sharth K, Puiti, and Nimrat K. for always coming in and ensuring Dad’s needs were addressed making things easy for both Mom and Dad. Would definitely recommend Home Instead Mississauga to families needing help with their loved ones. Thank you!
