Did not receive my prescription and no glass selection for me. 3/6/2026 update - Specsavers has reached out and apologized, i appreciate the apology and noting my concerns. I love the idea that the is not a compliant but a learning lesson on what not to do. Sounds like SpecSavers is on the right track values the customers and the staff. thanks i will be back and would recommend. update to 5 * stars. Keep up the great work!
- CCCandid CanopyMar 3, 20262.0As far as getting frames and glasses cheaper than say, Lenscrafters, the service here is pretty good during the week. Weekends are stupid busy. Selection is ok, but nothing compared to Lenscrafters. If you have the $, go there for nicer frames. In regards to eye care, they do the usual eye exams to prescribe prescriptions for glasses. If there are other "issues" with your eyes, it kind of makes me wonder if they are getting "kick backs" for other optical procedures not covered under OHIP. Private clinics calling about booking an expensive procedure that, according to the optometrist, wasn't of any concern. Made me suspicious with the clinic "cold calling" and pressuring to book an appointment. It didn't sit well and raised some questions. How did this clinic get my medical information? Why are they calling to confirm an appointment when there was no request for a consultation? The whole thing sounded sus...

Everyone was incredibly patient while helping me choose frames, taking the time to listen to my preferences and suggest options that suited my face. The doctor was also very gentle and thorough during the eye exam, and the staff who assisted with additional testing were professional, patient, and supportive throughout the entire process. When I returned to pick up my glasses, Vivian helped me, and she was absolutely amazing. She was very kind and made me feel genuinely cared for. The entire team made the experience smooth and comfortable, and I’ve already recommended them to my family. I highly recommend this location to anyone looking for excellent service and caring staff.

What a difference your visit makes when staff is so helpful and serving you with a smile. Dr Patience was thorough and adviced me on things which I should have been adviced earlier. OSA ogberaja was the sweetest and helpful when checking me out along with Vivian! Kayode who did my pre examination tests was thorough and explained everything. This has been my best experience in Mississauga since I have started having eye tests almost 3 decades back. Nothing was forced onto me but was suggested. Thank you
