After wearing the new glasses for about 10 days, I started experiencing eye swelling, headaches, and dizziness. These symptoms were concerning, so I called the clinic and was asked by the receptionist to come in. I went to the Markville Mall location, but unfortunately, the optometrist did not properly attend to my concern. Instead of checking my eyes or reassessing the prescription, I was told that I would have to pay another fee to be seen again — even though it had only been two weeks since my eye exam and I was clearly having problems with the prescription he provided. This behavior is unacceptable for a healthcare professional. Patient safety and care should come first, not charging extra fees when a patient is clearly suffering due to a faulty prescription. I left feeling stressed, ignored, and deeply disappointed. I would not recommend this optometrist to anyone.

She told me everything she was going to do, and made sure I was comfortable. Then I saw Dr. Tam, who was great! He made me feel relaxed and the appointment went super smooth. Finally, when I was choosing my new frames, I got loads of assistance from Nancy, Mary, and Meggie who helped be my eyes and helped me understand the best frames and styles for my face and special lens needs. 10/10 experience from everyone and I would come back! This was also my first specsavers visit and I’m so pleased :)
