the employees here are generally nice but there is one old lady with short white hair that has the most terrible temperament. I thought I was just interpreting her behaviour wrong the first time I encountered her but then the next 2 times I came back she was the same way. It's one thing to lack customer service skills in a store that is deliberately meant to foster connections with customers to sell them things, but it's another thing to just lack basic social skills and decency. This is not even the type of disrespect I'd expect to see from a stranger on the street. Many other places sell frames and lenses, and I'd prefer to shop at a place with employees that don't make me feel like I did them wrong in a past life or something.

Mr. Williams - who was the employee at the Masonville LensCrafters store was really helpful. He is so polite and kind, really helpful for selecting specific model frames for me and my wife . Feel fully satisfied with the wide range of selections.

🚫 Disappointed with misleading LensCrafters. Bought glasses a year ago with insurance for lens replacement at no extra cost. Came in to replace lenses as promised and got hit with a $55 charge. Sales rep said 'no additional charges' - big mistake. Avoid the hassle and find a more honest eyewear provider.

I usually come here to get my glasses since it is one of the two places that have notes on how my lens needs to be. I ordered my glasses on Nov 6 2025 and called Nov 27 2025 to see if they were in as it should only take about 2 weeks, apartently there were in on Nov 20 2025 for ALL of my lens and frames but no one called to tell me and they kept saying they were waiting for all the lens to be in BUT THEY WERE ALREADY IN.
I went into the stores and BEHOLD the lenses were all incorrect, and they were saying oh no, it was ordered correctly when it was not the same at all with the ones I already had, even holding the glasses I was wearing to them to show look, these are right, those are wrong. Asked if the correct lens was in the back so we can switch it out, get this, THEY ALREADY THREW THE CORRECT LENS OUT WITHOUT ME KNOWING THEY WERE IN AND IF THE CORRECT LENS WERE IN THE FRAMES. Even my old sunglasses lenses were thrown out. WHY WOULD YOU THROW SOMETHING OUT BEFORE THE CUSTOMER SEES THE GLASSES ARE CORRECT? Never had this issue before until the new renovation and newer sales associates in the store.
The Lead technician said they would put a rush on the correct lens, called today, Dec 4, 2025, to see if they were in, nope, they weren't, and it would still take another week. Why was I told it would be a rush? I asked if they were able to contact the lab, and was told there is no way to contact the lab to see if they are on the way or not, and it was out of their hands once they asked to put a rush on it. You had put the order into the lab and said it is a rush, so yes, there is a way somehow to see where they are.
Just lost a loyal customer for over 5+ years after this experience because only one person is taking accountablity for it and no one else in the store after I told them it was only corrected cause I told them it needs to be corrected with the Lead Technician so no, you will not be taking the Lead Technician accountablity for a mistake that you or most likley multiple people mistakes.
Taking your child to an optometrist for an eye exam is the best way to learn if your child needs glasses. Many children who need glasses aren’t aware that they do. Signs of vision problems in children include sitting too close to the television, squinting, sensitivity to light, difficulty with eye-hand coordination, and avoiding visual activities like reading and drawing. To see if your child needs glasses, schedule your child’s eye exam today.
Is a contact lens exam different than an eye exam?
A normal, comprehensive eye exam will allow your optometrist to determine if your eyes are healthy enough to wear contact lenses. During your contact lens fitting, detailed measurements of your eyes will be taken to determine the right contact lenses for you. There is an additional fee for a contact lens fitting and evaluation for all contact lens patients (both new and established patients). Schedule your eye exam today to have all of your questions about contact lenses answered.
What is the difference between an eye exam and a vision screening?
A comprehensive eye exam is administered by an optometrist and can detect not only vision problems but problems with eye health and general health as well. A vision screening is typically performed by a general medical practitioner such as a pediatrician or a nurse. While a vision screening can help identify vision issues, it can miss many important issues that a comprehensive eye exam can identify. This is why everyone is encouraged to get annual eye exams. Schedule your eye exam today!
Why should I get an eye exam?
An annual eye exam involves more than just updating your glasses or contact prescription. A comprehensive eye exam can also detect eye health issues as well as general health problems. Conditions such as diabetes and high blood pressure can be detected in early stages through an eye exam, and this can result in early treatment. Schedule your annual eye exam today.
What should I bring to my eye exam?
You should bring your vision insurance and medical insurance information to your eye exam. If you currently wear any prescription lenses, bring your eyeglasses, sunglasses, and contact lenses. You should also bring any and all questions you may have. Contact your optometrist if you have specific questions about any additional items you think you may need to bring to your eye exam.
