I just showed up for my appointment and was told if I didn't have something from my pharmacy I couldn't have a diabetic eye exam which I understood was completed last year. I also called not long ago asking for my diabetic eye test results be sent to my family physician. Obviously someone should have clarified this at time of booking.

The ophthalmologist are very through and took her time looking and explaining what she saw. I did not feel rushed at all. Good selection of frames as well with good pricing. - QMQueen MahshadFeb 27, 20261.0I purchased a pair of glasses, they didn’t order the glasses as I requested and gave me a strong progressive while I asked for a mild prescription. When I picked up the glasses they broke one before I even got to try them on. Then had so many trouble with the one I was wearing they blamed it on me for not wearing it enough and that I have to get used to it. It’s funny because I knew my issues aren’t that. Something wasn’t done right with the glasses. So I went to a couple of other places with my old pair to investigate then I learned that these glasses aren’t done properly for my needs. So I returned them. Now they aren’t taking care my insurance claim. I’ve been asking and calling for 2 months to reverse the claim so I can purchase my glasses elsewhere but NOTHING. I don’t recommend this business to anyone it seems they are treating eye care as just a selling business no care plan to treat your eyes and no care for customers. Go somewhere that will take care of your eyes and not just sell you a pair every 2 years.

Our comprehensive eye exams cost $99 at participating stores and include an OCT scan at no additional charge. This is a detailed 3D image of your eye and its structures, helping your optometrist to spot eye conditions even earlier. If you're 65 or over you can get a comprehensive eye exam with no out of pocket expense to you (costs covered by provincial health care plan for eligible patients).
How do I book an eye exam?
You can easily book an eye exam with us online. Just select the store and click ‘book appointment’ and our website will be able to easily take you through the booking process! You can also just give us a call or pop in and see us and we'll be able to book you in for an appointment and help with any questions you might have.
Can I return my glasses?
Yes, we want you to be completely happy with your purchase at Specsavers. If you have any concerns within three months of the date of purchase, we'll put it right.
How can I amend or cancel my order?
If you placed your order in-store with us and you’d like to amend or cancel it, just pop in and see us. As a part of our no worries, no fuss guarantee, you're able to amend or return your glasses within 3 months.
Can I get my glasses adjusted/repaired?
If you’re experiencing any discomfort or issues at all with your glasses, just pop in and see us and we'll see if we can adjust or repair them in-store for you.
