I’m in a somewhat unique situation: I wear progressive lenses, but I have difficulty reading sheet music while playing the piano. He suggested that I measure the distance from my eyes to the sheet music at home and return for a brief follow-up appointment to prescribe a dedicated pair of piano reading glasses. I really appreciated this thoughtful and practical approach. Although my prescription has only changed slightly — not enough, in my opinion, to warrant new progressive lenses — a pair of single-vision glasses specifically for reading music would make a meaningful difference in my quality of life. I also want to note how impressed I was with the technology used during the exam. The equipment felt truly state-of-the-art, and the level of thoroughness was unlike any eye exam I’ve had before. Thank you again for such attentive and personalized care.

I don't have any trouble with those machines that look deep into the back of the eye, but Charles gets a sore neck after these tests. I am sure he will feel fine in a couple of days. I however, am very happy to find out that my eyesight is stable for another year. Thanks Linda

They gave them a couple of options and when they took them in right after my visit, Dr. Surani immediately addressed the issue with the next scheduled appointment and apologized. That's all anyone can ask if there is a small delay. Just tell me rather than have me wait and just stew over why my appointment is behind.
