- NUNunna Urbznz2 days ago5.0I attended the Quarry Edge location of Specsavers (inside Fortino's) to check out their special pricing & frames. In reality, I thought I would be in & out quickly, heading back to Costco. That changed once I was being served by the employee working at the time. Unfortunately his name escapes me at the moment, but I will not forget the service he provided.he s determined to help me find frames I liked, and also very patient with my indecisiveness. Finally we found frames that met my needs, and he proceeded to clearly go over the options for the lenses, even going to the trouble of making sure which of their transition lens choices matched my current glasses. I mentioned that I was worried about the quality compared to Costco, as I usually get my glasses from there & thought this year would be the same. He assured me that I would be very happy with the quality of Specsavers. I checked out this location based on a recommendation, in spite of a bad experience I had at the Bramalea City Centre location. I am very glad I did. The gentleman provided exceptional service, and also apologized for the bad experience I had, thanking me for giving Specsavers another chance. He made it right, and I am happy to recommend him and this location of Specsavers. I am patiently waiting for my glasses but pretty sure I will be happy with them. The person who served me was a manager of the previous eyeglass store located in the same spot. Although I forget what his name is, I do hope he sees this review and knows that I truly appreciate the service that I received from him.

Nothing compared to the previous atmosphere and staff, they were courteous and kind, irrespective on how busy it was.

When I came in I spoke to the 2 representatives there who acknowledged remembering me from the day before. I told them I was there to purchase glasses and looked around for about 15 mins. After I had chosen I took them to purchase and was told it would be a 2 hours since I’m considered a walk-in and they had to prioritize other patients including 2 other walk-ins who weren’t there any longer but had said they’d come back. If I had known 1. How long it would take when I first got there I would not have wasted anytime and 2. That I need an appointment to purchase glasses?? I would never had bothered. I will not be going to any specsavers again.
