- MPMarina PNov 29, 20205.0During a recent medical emergency, I contacted Home Instead to provide care for my parents aged 96 and 98. I am their closest family member (daughter) but I live 3 provinces away. From the moment I communicated the desperation of the situation to the administrative staff, they took charge and arranged for on site help within 2 days. The caregivers themselves are well trained. My Mum says they are more than willing to help with whatever they need. They provide them with personal care (including pedicure!!!), meal prep, shopping, exercise facilitation, housekeeping, laundry, and take them to appointments, just to list some of their services. They even help my Mum with her computer emails. Two days ago, the caregiver observed a developing medical concern and immediately reported this to her supervisor, who in turn called me. Because of this, "CIRCLE OF CARE," we were able to avert a potentially life threatening situation. Thank you Home Instead. I have great trust and confidence in your service during these difficult times.

What she wants most is to end her days in her own home and through the wonderful care she's been getting from the great staff at Home Instead she's managing just fine. Mom very much looks forward to the visits from the staff engaged to look after her and they keep me well informed about how she's doing which is a challenge because I live 7 hours drive away. Can't say enough good things about Home Instead and I highly recommend them.
