  I am so happy I decided to try out Specsavers in Ancaster, I can't recommend them enough! The optician made me feel at ease right away. She explained all the steps and why she chose the specific new prescription for me (can be difficult with my astigmatism). She also showed me my eye scan and went through it in detail. She was such a good mix of friendly and knowledgeable. I also can't speak highly enough about the service I received while I picked out my new glasses. Rachel was amazing, gave me good feedback and worked within my budget for new frames and new sunglasses. I never once felt any sales pressure. And when my new glasses didn't fit my nose bridge properly, I went back and RJ helped me pick out a new pair. She was so patient with me as I tried on so many different pairs, and even helped me set up my phone so I could video call someone to help me choose a pair. They were both there when I went this week to pick up my new (new) pair, and RJ even remembered my name. All the staff treat you so well and really seem to not only be very knowledgable, but also to truly enjoy their jobs. I will absolutely be going back here the next time I need an exam/glasses, and I will be recommending them to everyone I know.

  The two staff members that I spoke with in the Ancaster store were very helpful and knowledgable. I picked a few glasses and they helped me confirm the way that I felt about them. I had them sent to the store in Ottawa where I live, and the girl that fitted me with my new glasses was also very knowledgable and helpful. Very happy with my glasses and excellent staff!!

  The staff who assisted us were incredibly friendly and professional. The optometrist was especially patient with my young son, who doesn’t speak English, and made the whole experience smooth and comfortable for him. That meant a lot to us. They also took the time to help us apply our insurance benefits and explained everything clearly and thoroughly. We truly felt well taken care of from start to finish. Highly recommend this place!

  I’m really happy with the selection of eyeglass frames. There’s such a wide variety, and you can find something for pretty much any budget. I’m also really happy with the customer service. The girls were super nice and helped me pick everything out. Overall, I really, really like it.

  RJ and Theresa were absolutely fantastic from start to finish. The whole experience was smooth, the staff made you feel welcome right away, and the eye exam onsite was so efficient! No runaround, no waiting around, just a clean process that actually respects your time. I looked around and couldn’t find better pricing anywhere, whether you’re going brand name or not. You’re not sacrificing quality to save money here, you’re getting both. I wouldn’t go anywhere else for a full eye exam and glasses. Highly recommend this location.
