A while back, I bought new glasses for my family and I at this location. There was a problem with one of the lenses for my glasses, because of a difference in one eye being weaker than the other. Ravi, the store manager, patiently went well beyond normal expectations and did everything possible to make things right. I felt like he really heard me, and always was so gracious when trying to work through things to get a good solution. The other service representatives are also very polite and kind and always willing to help you even after the sale as well past done. I would strongly recommend the store.

My left eye was red and painful for couple of days when I booked an appointment online Dec.16,2025 to see a doctor at Specsavers 135 Harwood Avenue North @ Durham Centre Ajax. I saw Dr. Amina Khan, super nice lady, very professional and knew right away after checking my eyes that I have inflammation in my left eye. Eye drops were prescribed and started to feel better the next day. If you ever need an eye doctor, look no further. Specsavers are the best. Nice people and very competitive price. A+++.

Alessohdro also helped me who was great as well. I asked for a rush on my glasses he said he would try. I'll let you all know how that goes. My doctor was Dr. HAMILTON was awesome with me explaining everything to me and sending me for surgery I could have asked for more from them. There all very friendly and kind. I will keep going to them and now my husband is going to change to them as well. I highly recommend these guys. Even making my appointment was easy and so very fast, I checked online the night before got a appointment the nest morning.

While picking out glasses, my child (who is on the spectrum) had a meltdown and knocked over a display, breaking a pair of glasses. The manager at Specsavers Ajax Durham centre location was incredibly understanding, patient, and completely non-judgmental. That kind of kindness in a hard moment means more than people realize.
