I told the technician, she selected frames within my parameters with a select few edge cases. I tried them on, picked four frames to purchase, and she rapidly got my complex payments sorted out (insurance, plus discounts, FSA, maybe some in CC) so the actual payments only took a minute. At my last optician, the payments weren't as complex, but they struggled with the benefits plus cash, and I spent a lot of time just cashing out the payment for the glasses. On the amazing side two of the edge case frames are stunning, while I still only tried on about a dozen pairs to select four total. Two pairs are safety glasses, one the lightest weight, best fitting pair I've ever owned, and the safety side shields are much better designed, more comfortable, and stay put.
