  This Review is for SSM Health Medical Group. I want to preface my Review by saying that I believe it is very hard to find good employees these days. With that being said, I am trying to establish as a new patient with Dr. AJ; however, my appt is not until June. I feel like I need to see someone sooner, so I called the office to see if any appts had opened up. When I told the girl my name, she didn't ask any other questions. She said, "Oh, I see you have an appt with <another dr> on xxxx. I can go ahead and cancel that one for you." I said, "No, wait, wait, wait... I do not see <another dr>." She said, "Isn't your birthday 12.14.71?" I told her NO! My point is that she was so busy she didn't take the time to ask me relevant security questions in order to access my account. She was about to cancel someone else's appt. People make mistakes, I get it, but this is healthcare. We need to have a standard for recruiting, vetting, and training these employees, PLEASE.

  I would not recommend this place to anybody for any reason. I went there to get work with an OBGYN it was a very unprofessional place and they ended up putting me on a anabiotic that had I taken it would have caused me to miss carry my baby or it would’ve caused major heart deformities that would’ve killed a baby shortly after me delivering it. Whenever I called them to try to figure out why I was put on that medication they spoke to me like I was stupid, even though a pharmacist had told me absolutely not do not take that medication and told me what all it would do for a baby. They told me that they were medical professionals and that I needed to just listen to them instead of understanding that what they put me on was not safe for the baby then they told me that I was not going to be a decent mother because of it, I decided that I was gonna switch care to a place I. ADA but they needed my medical records my medical records and they sent me all over the place. They would not give me my medical records. They kept denying me over and over and over my fiancé even tried getting a hold of them. My new care provider ended up having to call them and argue with them and we had to threaten legal matters just to get my medical records, which is illegal for them to deny you.if you prioritize your health and your children’s health, I would recommend you go anywhere but this place if I could give them less than a one star I would. They do not care about you your health or anything really and if they keep doctors employed that treat their patients as badly as the lady I had did then they’ll be shut down before long anyways. There was so many things they did that was awful. They spoke to us like we were stupid during our appointment and on phone calls they hurt me and did not care and they could have killed my baby being reckless and then instead of owning up to what they did they treated me like I was stupid and refused to fix it please put you and your family’s health first because they most certainly will not

  Appointment was at 3:05 it was 3,:45 before they called me back I was lost in the computer somewhere she finally found me
