  My brother John was brought to the ER by ambulance and had no ride home, because the hospital didn’t call us. He was found sitting in the ER waiting room. He is still dizzy and very shaky. Not sure why a staff member couldn’t take the time to call his family. You need to do better

  Registration nurse didnt greet us, was snarky, & rude,& hard to hear behind the thick glass. After waiting in a room for 3 hours the patient told the nurse he had to use bathroom & she made this man who she knew has prostate issues wait longer than necessary & when he rang her again because he couldn’t wait any longer she told him she heard him the first time, gave him something to pee in then shut the door after waking out rudely. The attending doctor was a nice man, very sympathetic& understanding but we only saw him once. Mostly a bad experience, will never go there again if we can help it.

  Went in for problems with my neck and headaches my diagnosis was acute cough nothing for what I went in for. I was seen by John Fitzgerald, DO told him my throat will get dry can swallow food with pressing my throat to swallow and my other symptoms. Sent me home after doing a chest scan.

  I went in last night for abdominal pain. The nurses on staff when I arrived early evening were amazing and kind. Dr Husen was also amazing. I was there until a little after midnight and the night nurses do not have great bedside manners. While the care I received was not bad, they just were not very sympathetic or friendly. Overall my experience was good. I did have to have a CT scan and ultrasound and both techs were amazing. The ER was clean and pleasant overall. I would go back if needed in the future.

  Went to e.r. at ssm Shawnee per my dr request. Check in was better. Nurse was good. Was informed I would be admitted. I had arrive at the hospital at1250pm. At around 245pm I was told I would be put into a rm. I needed my everyday meds, plus a breathing treatment, I asked for a dr at around 430pm and was advised the nurse would contact the dr and said they were still working on cleaning my room. I had asked about the room at around 4pm. Finally I called the dr who sent me to the e.r. my dr had already left fir the day. Asked for another dr. Was called back about 515... unable to get any satisfaction I finally left the hospital at around 555. I called a ride share company as I had already sent my sister home who was going to give me a ride home. The admitted nurse called me at 620 pm wanting to know if I was still at the hospital. And advised I left.
