I've been a patient for quite some time and I've been run through a lot of people but for some reason I haven't seen an actual Dr. In many years. That troubles me actually. Makes me feel unimportant. I would love for someone to explain why I never see an actual Dr.
Thank you,

Very efficient and ordered more testing and X-rays immediately after initial visit. I felt like the news should have upset me, but I felt safe and understood. Would definitely recommend.

I like the doctor, but the customer care is terrible. You can’t speak to anybody, you have to leave a message. Then, nobody returns your call (nurse or receptionist). I contacted them in December regarding a medication that needed special authorization and they never called me back about it after my leaving multiple messages. Then I recently saw the doctor and he was to put in a new prescription and that still hasn’t happened yet. I left several messages last week and this week and nobody has returned my calls yet. I’ll be looking for a new place for rheumatology.

I feel as if my health had been taking backseat with some of my previous Rheumatologists. I never seemed to get very much relief. I felt they never really listened to me. I had a friend refer the Rheumatic Diseases Clinic of Ok. I had researched Dr. Drew Huffman. My call was received with a courteous office representative. Got right to the point & within a few minutes all my questions were answered & I had an appointment with Dr Huffman. My daughter was visiting me from NM and went with me. She also happens to be a Dr. Dr Huffman was very nice, professional & concerned about my health. After X-rays & several questions, he had a medical plan for me. I felt as if a ton of weight had been lifted. My daughter & I both were impressed with Dr Huffman. Many thanks to everyone at the clinic on my first day! ❤️

Dr Huffman is truly God sent. He is my husband doctor & my husband's autoimmune issues had gotten worse as he has had to fight other serious medical conditions. We had gotten so discouraged & my husband began to give up as things just continued to get more complicated & overwhelming. Then we met Dr. Drew. He is so easy to talk to, truly caring about the 'whole person' (so many docs today only think of their own specialty & some even fail to understand they could be complicating other issues, even endangering patients. More than once have we recvd dangerous medicine combinations or treatments.). He has been patient while educating us & takes the time to explain in a way we understand & is happy to answer ALL questions, as many times as need be.
He is not the only GREAT doctor my husband now has, but its been alot of years of having to sift thru others that just aren't as good. While I dont feel it has ever been intentional, alot of doctors don't take time (most probably don't HAVE the time as large employers put more & more on them) to really look closely at history & many fail at treating folks with complicated histories, opting for the same 'most likely' option causing us to waste time repeating the same unsuccessful treatments over & over never making progress. NOT WITH DR HUFFMAN!! And while he has a lot of patients he even REMEMBERS us, maybe not every detail off the top of his head but he DOES retain the 'basic' important information allowing his treatment to finally PROGESS & my husband is FINALLY FINDING RELIEF, RESOLVE, AND HOPE IS BEING RESTORED!!!
THANKS TO DR DREW & HIS STAFF. They have always been great and even when issues do arise (and they just will as medicine is more and more political and controlled by insurances, and as good people with good work ethic become harder and harder to find putting more and more work on the good ones out there.) there have been alot less issues with his office and what issues have occured have been dealt with with care, concern, HONESTY and RESOLVE. We truly are so grateful.
CANT RECOMMEND ENOUGH 10/10!!
