  So I was hesitant to leave this review based on the other experiences people have had with Dr. Nguyen, but i have been uncomfortable since I left. The first issue that arose was when my appointment was scheduled. I was very purposely specific with the person who made the appointment, that I was only interested in getting contacts. When I arrived to the office, they informed that I was only scheduled for a glasses exam. This meant that the cost of the appointment was double what I was quoted prior to arrival. Dr. Nguyen was very polite and professional during the eye testing. My major complaint stems from the pressure I felt when he started discussing my options for different types contacts. I am a father of 3 and everything for myself follows a strict budget. I was aware that my selection would probably be monthly lenses. After him repeatedly explaining that weekly and daily are the only way to go, I was finally able to get him to allow the monthly option. By the time we came to the decision, he had made me feel cheap and that I would be dissatisfied with the contacts I was going to be purchasing. I also requested my prescription so that I would be able to shop around for my lenses, he informed me that was an impossibility. In order to obtain it, I must come in for the follow up fitting first. I am displeased and a bit offended by my interactions at the office thus far. I am not feeling confident about my decision to get contacts at all now. I would note that outaide of the scheduling mishap, the staff were all lovely and very helpful during my interactions with them. I will update my review after my follow up, hopefully within the upcoming week. UPDATE: Changing the rating from 1 to 3 stars because the general staff up there are fantastic. They gave me a solid tutorial on how to put in my contacts and gave me my prescription so that I could shop online for my contacts supply. They are knowledgeable, friendly, and very efficient.

  Glasses took double the time they were supposed to. Then other pair of glasses were not ready when they said they would be. The owner has poor customer service skills. Go somewhere else that is competent and do what they are supposed to so you can see!

  Both my husband and I love Dr. Nguyen, but the staff is the most incompetent people to deal with. We came in today for our yearly exams. They couldn't find us on the schedule. We make this appointment a year in advance. After a few minutes, they found my name and I was taken back for the exam,thinking that they would find my husbands name on the schedule. When I finished my husband was waiting and I asked him if he was all done and he said he hadn't even been seen. The staff said he wasn't scheduled, but they could make an appointment for him. We paid for my exam and left. We are sorry to leave Dr. Nguyen,but we won't be back.

  I had this appointment for my child scheduled for a few months. They waited until I got here to tell me that they don’t accept her vision insurance, despite having her information. It is very unprofessional to do this to a patient. We will not be back.

  My family and I (family of 4) have used Pearle Vision of Norman for several years (10+). However, I will not continue to use them in the future. They have become hard to work with and very disrespectful. Had an issue with getting my sons contacts and so I asked to purchase some (4 days worth) of the trials until the order arrives, if it arrives on the day they say they will, and they would not do that. I am very disappointed with them and would not recommend them for anyone in the future. They DO NOT CARE about their loyal customers.
