  I can't say enough great things about the Norman, Oklahoma Home Instead folks who have been caring for my 83-year-old mother for the past eight months. After her stroke in 2023, which affected her speech and coordination, my mother lived with me in Virginia for a year and a half, and no one was happy. When she finally insisted on returning to the home she built with my father in 1967, I was sure it would never work out, but agreed to give it a try. Home Instead, however, has proven me wrong. Because of them, my mother is able to live safely in her own home and enjoy the company and companionship of the friends she has known in Norman for more than 50 years. Mom's caregivers are kind, patient, and understanding—even on my mom’s more challenging days, and she genuinely looks forward to their arrival. Time and again, they go above and beyond to ensure she is safe, comfortable, and treated with respect. The staff keep me informed about my mom's well-being, work smoothly with my mother’s doctors, and coordinate with the pharmacy and Home Health nurses to make sure my my mom's overwhelming medication regimen (one that spans a wide and complicated array of medical conditions) stays on track. They are also always available to chat with me about mom whenever I call with a question or concern. In short, the Norman, OK branch of Home Instead has earned my trust completely. It is stressful living several states away from mom, and I am profoundly grateful for the peace of mind Home Instead has given me, and also for the independence they have given back to my mother. While I appreciate ALL of the Norman Home Instead staff, I want to give a special shoutout to Judy, Joy, Carrie, and Tabitha in particular for all of their hard work. Thank you all for what you are doing for mom; I just visited her last week, and she looks and sounds great!

  We’ve had a wonderful experience with this home care service. The caregivers have been incredibly compassionate and attentive in caring for my mom. They treat her with genuine kindness and respect, and it’s clear they truly care about her comfort and well-being. Communication has been excellent—they keep us updated regularly and are always responsive to any questions or changes in my mom’s needs. It gives our whole family such peace of mind knowing she’s in good hands. Most importantly, the team is trustworthy and dependable. I can always count on them to show up on time, handle everything with professionalism, and go above and beyond to make sure Mom feels cared for. I highly recommend their services to anyone looking for reliable, compassionate home care for a loved one.

  We have loved using Home Instead! They did an excellent job matching up grandma with a caregiver that fits her personality. They have been consistent, provided great care, and above all, grandma enjoys the visits.
