I am writing this to formally document my dissatisfaction with the pediatric office upstairs. While the Emergency Room staff has been excellent, the upstairs office has become a significant liability to my children’s health.
Most notably, I previously reached out to office management via a formal letter to address these concerns, and the fact that I received no response confirms a complete lack of accountability at the administrative level.
After two years of care, I am withdrawing my children from this practice due to the following:
Failure to Follow Up: Following ER visits, this office makes zero effort to check on their patients. There is no coordination of care, even when a medical issue has not fully resolved.
Pay-to-Play Care Model: The office refuses to provide any guidance or follow-up treatment unless a full, billable in-person check-up is performed. By also refusing video visits, you create unnecessary barriers to care for recovering children.
Administrative Indifference: Ignoring a parent's written concerns is unacceptable. It demonstrates that the mismanagement I’ve experienced is not an accident, but a choice by your leadership.
This office will no longer be treating my children. I expect a formal acknowledgement of this complaint, and I will be looking for a practice that prioritizes patient safety over administrative rigidness.
Been in the waiting room almost 3 hours with my 8 month old hopefully the experience gets better but from the looks of these reviews it sadly won't. Update: it's been 4 hours we are leaving everyone was taken before my baby please if you have an emergency don't come here security guard at the front said this is a regular thing update: owner replied saying this ER is busy but when I called to complain I was told it's not the fact that it's busy but that the reason for my daughter's visit wasn't severe enough to be priority my daughter had a severe rash that was bleeding and making her cry and scream because of it I tried all the over the counter creams nothing worked a simple sorry would have been ok instead of making me feel like my daughter wasn't important enough or giving me a lame "busy" excuse

I came here today for antibiotics while visiting family. I was told by the first technician that I had pneumonia. Then, two other technicians came in and proceeded to subject me to the most painful procedures I’ve ever had — keep in mind I don’t feel good because of pneumonia! Finally Dr. Elliot came in and just started talking “at” me like I’m an idiot. She proceeded with more procedures like jamming a metal thing under my ribs which was so painful I cried out stop. She asked when I had had a physical recently and I haven’t — to which she replied well I’m sure you’re a lot sicker than you think! You could have this deadly illness and that deadly illness etc. You are going to be here for hours just so you know. Finally I asked her if any of the plethora of deadly illnesses she spoke over me were indicated by anything she had found. She said no but continued her tirade of not having physicals. I’m 74 years old and have certainly faced the possibility of dying. So I’m lying on that gurney and thinking to myself that all of these painful procedures were things that I could have scheduled with a doctor When I didn’t have pneumonia! More technicians came in for more and more procedures and I sent them all back to this Dr. Elliot with the message that I’m not going to have anymore of these painful procedures. She never came. Finally I took off the blood pressure cuff which was the most painful I’ve ever had and got dressed. Finally she came some kind of nurse who was about 300 lbs. who stood behind her. I told her that I was not going to consent to any more procedures and the nurse started arguing with me. I said excuse me but who are you to argue with me? The doctor continued with her tirade of all of the deadly diseases that I could have and I told refer me to a good doctor and when I DON’T HAVE PNEUMONIA I can go through them. Then I asked her to take out the IV and she said please just listen and I said no— the nurse behind her kept interjecting until I said I don’t have to listen to you! I got my purse and was ready to walk out and she said that if I walked out with the IV in my arm she would call the the police and I would be arrested!!! I said I’ve asked you 3 times to take it out and you refused. The nurse finally removed it. Then Dr. Elliot threatened to call my daughter and tell her I refused care. I very firmly stated that she had better not call my daughter. Finally I asked her for the antibiotics that I came for and she refused. When I left I asked the gentleman at the front desk for a number of someone in charge since I had previously asked the doctor and technicians for someone in charge repeatedly and they refused. To add insult to injury the number he gave me didn’t work… in contrast I was here a few years ago and was attended to by a male doctor who was wonderful. I was in and out in an hour

The nurses and doctors were fantastic with my two year old who needed stitches, twice… in less than a week. Obviously he didn’t find the experiences super great, but they very patient and quick both times.
