The work they did with me was amazing and I loved the staff, however, I’m not sure when exactly the “miscommunication” happened but I was under the impression that I had a certain number of appointments covered by my health insurance and I discovered after 3 appointments that I now have a bill for almost $500. I explained to my doctor that gave me the referral, who is also part of the SSM Health network that I couldn’t afford physical therapy as a 24 yr old waitress. She, as well as someone from the therapy office told me when I ask “everything is taken care of by insurance” that the answer was yes. So now I am stuck with a huge bill from three appointments and no help for my shoulder issues because I had to cancel all my appointments. As I said. The staff was amazing and super helpful but make sure to speak with your insurance before going so there is no “miscommunication”.

I have been a patient of AllianceHealth Midwest Physical Therapy for over a year. I chose this facility because my good friend, who has received help from this clinic, recommended it very highly. My therapist is Aaron Womack, whom she also recommended. I had a weak right leg and hip which had been a worsening issue for many years. I had a very pronounced limp, I was unable to control my hip, put much weight on my right leg and needed a cane. I was thoroughly evaluated on my first visit and scheduled for twice weekly appointments. My treatment plan was specifically individualized for my issue rather than a "one size fits all" cookie cutter approach as I had experienced at other physical therapy clinics. Aaron developes a series of targeted exercises that I do at my appointments, and at home. Once I master one set of exercises, he gives me more challenging routines as I get stronger and able to do more. He is always interested in my feedback and questions, and has helped me understand the healing process. I feel like a member of the team with an important role, rather than just a patient totally dependent on my therapist. He is upbeat, positive and encouraging. Along with the exercises, he has used innovative therapies of dry needling and manipulation to increase the functioning in my hips and legs. I have made good progress, not overnight, but ongoing progress. I feel stronger and am able to walk without my cane for short periods. Considering the years I have had this problem, I am encouraged by my improvement. My posture and weight distribution is better, which has led to less pain in my lower back. I am very happy with my progress and grateful for the help I have received from Aaron. I highly recommend AllianceHealth physical Therapy and Aaron Womack.

They used to have very professional therapists and nice equipment when they were at the old location.
Now they have inexperienced personnel, going by a script, and without enough anatomy and pathology knowledge to tailor the therapy by patient.
The exercises they prescribed did squat for my frozen shoulder, if anything, they made it more frozen. I went to my old ROM exercises that I did after breast cancer surgeries as well as getting an online yoga class and my arm is way better now in just days.
The equipment is super-outdated and looks old, the kind of old that no matter how much you clean it it will look dirty. Reminded me of the clinics of Eastern Europe before the fall of communism.
I went twice. I will cancel all my future appointments because going there is useless.

Love the people there. Aaron was really caring and took the time to find the exercise that would help me the most. Kayleigh was very patient with me. She made sure I didn't over do the exercises, therefore keeping me from having more pain.I would definitely recommend this office.
