The ladies there were nice.. However.. I was called and told I could come in 30 minutes early for my appointment so I did. Wonderful. Facility wasn’t the cleanest or very well maintained. I was told I had cavities sitting on nerves on two teeth. I was told it’d be best for me to get root canals on 4 teeth or have them removed and get partials to be more cost effective. I was sent on my way in extreme pain 15 minutes after my original appointment time was supposed to start in an almost empty facility, still 4 hours from closing time. I left in tears frantically calling other offices and thankfully Dental Depo was willing to help me last minute. Even staying past close time a little bit. There I got two root canals and was told fillings would be fine for the other teeth. All in all I would just pick somewhere besides Gentle Dental.

I have no idea who these 5 star people are or the experience that made them give such good reviews, or maybe they’re just being really nice… I don’t know. I can only say that my experience has been absolutely terrible and I seem trapped in a loop of never being able to STOP going to this office because they do such awful work that now I have to go back again because the crown I waited a month for has fallen off. Here’s the whole story… I came in because my only molar on the only side I have enough teeth to chew with broke, as it had been filled with composite for a long time. I saw Dr. Adrian and a very pleasant tech who took some x-rays. An appointment was scheduled and I came back on time, just like I’d committed to. The next time I came in, the first thing I noticed was a short, older, loud tech wearing glasses, walking around the lobby and accusing all the people at the desk of taking heaters. I thought it was ridiculously confrontational for first thing in the morning. Well naturally, she was Dr Adrian’s tech that day and she wasn’t just loud, she was mean as hell. They spent the entire first part of my root canal and prep going on and on about the people at the the desk stealing their heaters. I felt extremely uncomfortable listening to this totally inappropriate conversation. After Dr Adrian finished, the mean tech started her portion of the work. She was so rough pulling my mouth open that she split the corner of my mouth, fish hooking my face. She then proceeded to blow cold air onto my gums until they stung and hurt as well, all the while yanking on my face mercilessly. She started being REALLY condescending saying, “oh your mouth is so dry. Do you take medicine that makes your mouth dry?” Never mind that she’s been blowing cold air into it for what seemed like forever. I was like “no.” Then I started trying to get some of the pressure off my cheek that she was yanking on, and she says, REALLY condescendingly, “ooh am I hurting yooouuu???” And I yelled, with half her hand in my mouth, “YES!” and that’s finally what made her stop hurting me completely. Idk if she thought she might get in trouble if I told on her or what but she kept going “I’m sooo sorry, I’m just in menopause, I’m having a hot flash right now” etc. etc. I left that day and I honestly wish the horror story ended here but it doesn’t. They scheduled me for 2-ish weeks out—normal for a crown. Well Dr Adrian just LEFT THE COUNTRY while I was on her schedule and the office manager (erroneously) told me she’d be back in a week. When the office manager discovered it would be 2 weeks, they put me in with someone else who couldn’t get the crown on because there’s nothing left of the tooth to cement a crown to and my gums were so traumatized that all I did was bleed pretty much the entire time I was in the chair. So, then I HAD to wait 4 ENTIRE WEEKS TO GET A CROWN THAT START-TO-FINISH WAS SUPPOSED TO TAKE 2 WEEKS. THEN dr. Adrian comes back from the trip and I guess somehow thinks she is the only person that will ever fly and not pick up something when they go out of the country. So then she was out and had to cancel my appointment again because she came back to work sick. When I finally got in to get my crown, I was able to get a tech that wasn’t a sadist, and Dr. Adrian was Able to fit the crown quickly and efficiently. However, because she left absolutely nothing on the prep to work with, Now the crown has fallen off!! Between the unprofessionalism, the really aggressive technician, the dentist deciding to leave while she had people on her schedule, the office manager not knowing what was going on with the dentists in the office, and the fact that they can’t seem to do a simple dental procedure… And none of this even mentions that they refused to work with me on any of the price stating that the discount I got through My insurance should be sufficient for me And the office manager saying “I’m so sorry” over and over and over in an attempt to elicit and “it’s ok” from me—You’d be better off Just finding a better dentist’s office.

Good afternoon, preferably DO NOT COME to this place. First, they called me a day before to ask about my insurance and told me to arrive at 1:45 PM to fill out paperwork, emphasizing that my appointment was at 2 PM. I arrived at 1:30 PM to have time, and when I entered, it was closed. After 15 minutes, I noticed a sign that said, "I’m on lunch, back at 2 PM." I let that go, but when the receptionist arrived, she asked if I hadn’t seen the sign. I politely responded that they had called me the day before and told me to arrive early. She continued to scold me, but I didn’t engage. I admit that after 2 PM, we started talking normally. I don’t know exactly what the issue was—my information, my insurance, or the system was super slow (I understood because it had happened to me before). By 3 PM, I saw her put my information in a folder for me to be seen, and it wasn’t until 3:20 PM that they could attend to me. The “assistant” called me and started doing the X-rays. I kindly asked if she could help me with translation. She replied that she wasn’t sure since she might be here and there, but she offered a solution: if I wanted to switch to another doctor who speaks Spanish. I said okay, perfect, to which she responded that the doctor was on vacation but would return on 03/24/2025, and there was an appointment at 2:30 PM. Without thinking, I accepted, got up, went to the lobby, and waited for them to change my appointment. I waited about 5 minutes (during which I saw the “assistant” approach the receptionist and say something; my mind thought she was reminding her about my doctor change). The receptionist called me and said that the doctor (the one the assistant said would return on 03/24/2026) would be back or could see me on 3/31/2026. To my surprise, I told the receptionist NO, that’s not what I was told. They then said they would check if they had another appointment, which they did but at a different time (a time that complicates my work). I told her no, explaining that they make me wait too long and give me INCORRECT information. I said I would go back inside and see the doctor who was supposed to see me, but they told me that I could no longer do that. I never learned my results; I don’t know if I have cavities, if I need to have a tooth extracted, or anything. The only thing I know is that they will charge me for something they did, but honestly, I’m not going back. It would be professional to speak with the manager of that office.
