My husband passed away at Genesis in February.... he fought a long battle and his last week was spent with the most loving, amazing, smart, incredible staff on 3West! They all became my family's family. I love you 3West. Thank you, Genesis. Every staff member. Thank you for loving us and Blessing us during the most difficult days of our lives.
5 stars, specifically for Maddy(daytime)& Alexis(overnight), RNs on the maternity ward. My sister was in labor for 24 hours & Alexus kept her comfortable and informed to the best of her ability for her entire shift. Maddy was phenomenal at being supportive & encouraging, & she all but delivered my nephew. Both Maddy & Alexis treated us well & explained things clearly without seeming condescending while simultaneously keeping things lighthearted & carrying conversation like old friends which really helped in keeping my sisters morale up during the 24 hours she was unable to eat or sleep. They are truly wonders of the maternity ward & I am sure, have made the labor process a bit less intimidating & more comfortable for many mothers by being there ♥️
Was put off by the doctor who delivered baby, but this may just be a difference in personality compared to myself or bedside manner compared to other doctors I’ve interacted with (also, could just be we were spoiled by the rockstars mentioned above).
If choosing between OhioHealth & Genesis, I would recommend expecting mothers seek care from Genisis 10/10 times. You might not jive with everyone, but you will receive quality care for yourself & your newborn & your visitors will be treated with respect ♥️

It's cleaner and friendlier than licking memorial. Luke, who was my transport from room to car was a very sweet incredible young man!
I had hand surgery Feb 12th and everyone from the Nurses who drew blood to the Anesthesiologist who chatted with me were all amazing. They were careful drawing blood as they knew I did not like needles and they kept me informed along the way. The process was pretty smooth from the time I walked in until I was discharged, everyone took good care of me. 10/10 would recommend
Thank you for taking good care of me!!
