  Dr. Richard Gentile really knows what he’s doing. I love that he doesn’t just do one thing—he stacks treatments like microneedling, PRF, and exosomes so everything works together…. After two treatments I am already seeing an improvement. I am so glad I chose him versus a salon because he is a medically trained doctor. I feel very comfortable. His staff is also wonderful.

  I can’t say enough about Dr. Gentile and his staff. They are very flexible with scheduling and always prioritize my comfort. Dr. Gentile has a wonderful bedside manner and is very knowledgeable. Would definitely recommend the Boardman office.

  Absolutely do NOT recommend. We took my boyfriend here in 2021. Traumatizing and extremely painful experience. He had deep acne scarring and we came to Gentile for the CO2 laser treatment and microneedling. Gentile started by injecting a numbing agent in my bfs forehead. After waiting about 30 minutes the numbing never spread anywhere else. We told Gentile about it and was told 'oh itll kick in'..... Well it never did. My bf felt everything. He said it was like hot knife torture. He felt the needles puncture and lift out of his skin, he felt the insane heat from the aggressive laser, everything. Gentile came to me after they were done and told me that next time it would be best that we get an anesthesiologist because he couldnt sit still.....If he would have listened to us in the first place my bf wouldnt have had to go through all of that pain. We had saved all of our money, on a very limited income, for that to just have him be tortured. Well afterword, he was experiencing redness. And to this day his face is always red. Come to find out, the CO2 laser induced Rosacea. We werent told about this. AND we found out that Skin Subcision would have been WAY better AND cheaper an option BUT Gentile decided to sell us his expensive CO2 laser instead. Will never recommend him.

  I went to Dr. Gentile for a rhinoplasty/septoplasty about two years ago to address a significant dorsal hump and a very deviated septum. Unfortunately, the surgery did not turn out the way I hoped. Post-operatively, I was accused of taking ibuprofen because I experienced excessive bleeding during surgery. Despite repeatedly telling him that I did not take ibuprofen, he did not believe me and did not consider other possible causes. I had a very difficult recovery, and shortly after surgery we saw a hematologist, where I was diagnosed with a bleeding disorder that we were previously unaware of. During my post-op appointment, when my nose was being cleaned and my stents were removed, the process was extremely painful and I felt that he was very rough. This made an already challenging recovery even harder. I’m sure Dr. Gentile is a capable surgeon, and I understand that the bleeding disorder complicated my case. However, I do not feel the situation was handled well, and as a young woman already struggling physically and emotionally during recovery, I did not feel supported. I’m sharing my experience so others considering this procedure will carefully weigh all their options and seek multiple opinions before moving forward.
