  300+ dollars for a 5 minute visit. Self-paid and had to wait in the waiting room for over 45 minutes with no one else there. They didn’t apply any of the potential discounts for self-pay. I will never return to a Kettering urgent care.

  I went in on Friday to get looked at for what I can only describe as flesh tearing close to my right rib. I get looked at, and for some reason, they thought I'd popped a rib(still don't know where they got that idea from). I go to get X-rays and they say they'll call me back to talk about the results. 5 days and many unanswered phone calls later(the one time they answered, I was rudely hung up on, then lied tob when I asked about it), I go back in to figure out why I wasn't called back. Turns out I made the mistake of looking at my results before they could call me. I was told there was nothing more they could do for me. You'd be better off going somewhere else.

  My primary care manager could not see me for several weeks and encouraged I go to an in-network Urgent Care center. I found the Kettering Health Urgent Care on Tricare's network list. Upon going to the facility's website, I found a great feature that indicated the current wait time - which was a mere 3 minutes. The website also allowed me to 'reserve' a spot at the facility in either 15, 30, 45, or 60 minutes - so I selected '30 minutes' and drove over. I was greeted professionally upon arrival and screened-in within 10 minutes. PA Wright completed a thorough review of systems and of chief complaint. As a retired Air Force healthcare administrator, this was the most efficient healthcare encounter I have had in years! I will definitely return for any future urgent care requirements! (I recommend potential patients go the facility's website, scroll to 'Programs,' and then select 'View Profile' to see the type of healthcare services available from the facility. This due diligence may help avoid the frustrations reported in some of the reviews herein.)

  Utterly Disappointed!! Went in at 12:28pm on a Wednesday and there was one other patient in the waiting room. Before I could even sign in I was told that the doctor was in a meeting and they close for lunch at 1 for “a while” so it going to be “a bit”. I asked how long she thought it would be and again she said, it will probably be after lunch (while checking the time on her computer) before they could see my son. Mind you she never even asked what we were there for, how serious it was etc. she didn’t give a damn about the patient but more about the fact that they needed to close for lunch in half an hour, so I would need to wait. I then asked if there was some other place we could go and she gave me the address to a different establishment! Kettering you should be ashamed of this! Made it very clear that you’ll don’t care about patients!
