I had a great experience at LensCrafters this week. Ray helped me pick out my glasses and was so kind and patient. He picked out some frames that I would never pick for myself and I love them!

I recently purchased an expensive pair of Ralph Lauren glasses for my child at this LensCrafters. Our first experience was frustrating; we live 45 minutes away and discovered the glasses were creaky and a lens was loose. To their credit, they ordered a replacement, but the pickup process for the second pair was very disappointing. I had to proactively call to see if the replacement was in before our upcoming vacation, as I hadn't heard back. When I arrived, the customer service was poor. The young woman assisting me was dismissive and had an attitude. When I pointed out that the new pair was also creaking loudly, she insisted it was 'normal' for expensive frames to do that. I actually walked to the parking lot, but felt so unsettled by the quality that I went back in to speak with a manager. The manager initially claimed she didn’t hear anything (likely due to the store music and pushing on lenses), but after she handled the frames and adjusted the lenses, the creaking finally stopped. It seems the lens wasn't properly seated in the first place a simple fix that the first associate refused to address. While the glasses are finally okay, the lack of attention to detail and poor service means I’ll be buying our glasses elsewhere next time.

From the minute I walked in to the time I left, Andrew treated me like royalty. Attentive, thorough, and patient. He didn’t rush me, wasn’t pushy, and seemed to genuinely care about helping clients. He assisted me with selecting 2 new pair of prescription glasses and I couldn’t be happier! Andrew was incredibly knowledgeable! Can’t wait to pick them up!

Frequently Asked Questions About LensCrafters

How do I know if my child needs glasses?

Taking your child to an optometrist for an eye exam is the best way to learn if your child needs glasses. Many children who need glasses aren’t aware that they do. Signs of vision problems in children include sitting too close to the television, squinting, sensitivity to light, difficulty with eye-hand coordination, and avoiding visual activities like reading and drawing. To see if your child needs glasses, schedule your child’s eye exam today.

Is a contact lens exam different than an eye exam?

A normal, comprehensive eye exam will allow your optometrist to determine if your eyes are healthy enough to wear contact lenses. During your contact lens fitting, detailed measurements of your eyes will be taken to determine the right contact lenses for you. There is an additional fee for a contact lens fitting and evaluation for all contact lens patients (both new and established patients). Schedule your eye exam today to have all of your questions about contact lenses answered.
