Let me paint you a picture, because apparently Kroger Pharmacy thinks their job is optional.
I just got back from spending 18 days in Vietnam. A whole different world — scooters everywhere, street food on every corner, and guess what? If you need medical help, you walk in, you get treated, you get the meds you need 💊, and you move on with your day. No drama. No “come back tomorrow.” No “we don’t feel like working right now.”
Easy. Fast. Common sense.
Now cut to me, back in America, land of convenience… supposedly.
I walk into Kroger thinking I’ll pick up what I need real quick. Maybe five minutes tops. I turn the corner to the pharmacy and there it is:
THE SIGN.
A big, bold, “We actually don’t care” type of sign.
> “CLOSED: Saturday 6PM — Sunday 10:30AM.”
I stood there in disbelief like I was reading the hours of a museum that only opens during lunar eclipses.
Who runs a pharmacy like this?
A place people depend on for their health?
It’s like they said, “Let’s figure out the EXACT hours when people get sick and make sure we’re closed for all of them.”
Saturday night? Closed.
Early Sunday? Closed.
Any time a working adult might have a chance to stop by?
Closed, closed, closed.
You know what this means?
If you get sick at 6:01pm on a Saturday, Kroger’s Pharmacy basically says:
> “Sorry, buddy. Try surviving without treatment. We’ll see you late tomorrow morning — maybe.”
Meanwhile, in Vietnam, you mention you’re sick and suddenly someone’s handing you medicine like it’s a drive-thru for health.
The contrast is insane.
One place treats healthcare like a priority.
The other treats it like a part-time hobby.
Honestly, the laziness is almost admirable. You have to put in real effort to be this inconsiderate. It’s like they sat down and said:
“Okay team, how can we do the absolute bare minimum and still call this a pharmacy?”
Mission accomplished.
So yeah, shoutout to Kroger Pharmacy for teaching me that crossing the planet is easier than getting a prescription filled in my own hometown.
Absolutely ridiculous.

This is the absolute worst pharmacy on the planet. They are not staffed to handle anything. They lock up early for lunch. They lock up early when they close. Michael is a very rude person and the pharmacist is on the same level.
