About us
Our founders, Paul and Lori Hogan, launched Home Instead in 1994 to provide care to Paul’s 90-year-old grandmother. Remarkably, after she began receiving personalized, in-home care that allowed her to age safely in the place she loved most – the family home – Grandma Manhart thrived for an additional decade!

Not only was Home Instead the first agency to contact me, we had an assessment the next day and the following day started with services. Within three days, Home Instead had 24/7 care arranged which allowed my father to recover from his treatment for cancer in his own home which was what he wanted. Staff have done a wonderful job monitoring his health and assisting him with personal care and have been instrumental in his recovery. We are so thankful for Home Instead!

When insurance gave us little notice about discontinuing coverage at a rehab center, Home Instead was immensely helpful in starting care in her home within just a day or two. They've also been really flexible with scheduling changes as she's had time in and out of the hospital (some unexpected). Because I do not live locally, it was a great weight lifted off my shoulders knowing that someone was there looking after her & helping her run errands so she could continue to be independent.
