Only after arriving, just before the appointment, I was told the exam was not covered but I could submit a claim later. Later, when they started mentioning “open network,” I checked with VSP and could not find this Eye Care Center listed as in-network. Due to urgency (my son lost his glasses), I proceeded and paid $141. This unexpected cost has been very difficult during a time of financial hardship. I hope future patients receive clearer and more timely communication.

They were efficient and knowledgeable when testing my eyes; I got all my questions answered. They even went out of their way to get a form signed for my insurance when I forgot to bring it with me. The price for their services was reasonable and it was easier to get an appointment compared to the eye doctor I had seen before.
