ATTENTION!!!!! CHARGES $119 for hospital upkeep INSTEAD OF REG $35!!!! So $154 a visit! Outrageous!
Dr. Allen is the best!! He helps with my pain immensely. BUT . . . . MY HUMANA SAYS $35 A VISIT I'M GETTING CHARGED $119.03 A VISIT!! People on SS can't afford this! So I'm having to go somewhere else, no one is budging on the amount!! This is so wrong!!! Like I don't even get pain injections every time I go! Just talks and prescribed my medication!! By Southwoods!!! And I've talked to your QUALITY TEAM! NO THANKS!! Im fighting this!! 😤

First of all, I've never been here, the hospital! I bet it's really nice since they charge me a $119.07 every time I go see. Dr. Allen in Warren Ohio. Plus my $35 copay!! (SS, Humana!) So I changed and told Dr. Allen I'm going to go to Youngstown, orthopedic because you're charging me $154.07 a month, while we had a mishap and thought Ortho said Howland not Poland And I had to reschedule it for Friday. So out of meds for 3-4 days. SHOULD NOT BE WITHOUT MEDS, WILL HAVE EFFECTS!!! It was the wrong place. So I have it for Friday. This Friday coming up. You know, Dr. Allen, he has no heart would not subscribe me my pain meds for 4 days. Southwoods, they have no heart. They don't care about you at all. They just care about your money.!!!!! NO NEED TO RESPOND OR CALL ME BACK CANDY OR AMY YOU COLD HEARTED PEOPLE, IM DEALING WITH A RUNNY NOSE, THE "D" AND ALL THAT COMES WITH SUDDENLY STOPPING YOUR PAIN MEDS! THEY HAVEN'T GOT A COMPASSIONATE BONE IN THEIR BODY!! THEY TAKE THE DOCTORS OATH! PLEASE DON'T CALL OR RESPOND! 🤑🤮 So have fun sucking people's money out of them! Bad ratings anyways.

My first (and last) experience with Southwoods Health (10/4/24):
Starting from scratch to find a new provider, I decided on Kimberly Johnson in Howland (my previous provider, who I loved, left the Meridian practice I was going to). I was in need of a refill for my thyroid medication (I had to have my thyroid removed years ago, so cannot go without meds).
Took me a couple of weeks to get in (even though they advertise availability within 1-2 days), so by the time of my appointment, I had already gone a week without my meds.
My appointment was scheduled for 8:15 a.m. Being new to Southwoods, I was unfamiliar with the campus, not realizing there would be numerous buildings (and numerous "Suite 1"s).
I checked into the Suite 1 I assumed was correct, only to have the front desk call me from the waiting room to explain, "Dr. Johnson is in the building behind this one." I thanked them and drove on to that building.
Once checking in there, it was 8:30. I was told that since I was 15 minutes late, I would have to reschedule, adding, "and Dr. Johnson is going out of town next week." What?! Does the doctor only allow 15 minutes for a visit?!
I was in disbelief. I explained that I was already a week without meds, and that I couldn't wait several more weeks. They already had all of my info and paperwork...all I needed was to have blood work drawn and Dr. J to write a prescription. No diagnosis needed.
They refused to proceed with my appointment. I nearly begged them to call to the back (to the doctor) and ask if there was anyway she could see me that day. Nope - they wouldn't even attempt to do so, instead, they simply stared at me. At this point, I was nearly livid.
I've since made an appointment with a well-recommended Mercy Health provider. I'm now very sorry I considered Southwoods first.

I live 1 mile from Southwoods imaging in boardman. I had to do MRI for my Elbow and my shoulder. Unfortunately their appointments were backed up so they suggested if I go to the one in Warren.
From the minute I stepped in at the Warren's branch I felt my blood pressure is going to be high because there were no air running in a day we had heat advisory 90!!!!!
The registration lady was professional and Curtis the guy who did my MRI was too but I told him I couldn't door my second 20 minutes MRI as I was not not breathing well because what I endured before stepping in his MRI room.
My respect to those who helped me out but as a facility the supervisor person should've know better we the seniors needed to feel cool in a hot humid day.
Very good experience as staff goes but horrible experience because I left nauseous because the warm facility. I am diabetic and have high blood pressure illness.
