The glasses where full of scratches within 2 months.i use the good clothes always to clean the lenses.i bought the protection insurance. So I was able to get new lenses for free.ill be damn if them glasses didn't scratch up all over again within 3 months.so finally I went to summit eye care in point place. After the doctor looked at my glasses.he said they use the cheapest auto tint on the market.and it looks like the tint melted into the lenses.their not scratched at all.its the treatment they put on lenses.he also told me the bifocal wasn't what the prescription was called for.much weaker.no wonder i couldn't read small print.STAY AWAY FROM THESE PEOPLE.THEY CHARGE AN ARM AND LEG.AND THERE SERVICE IS HORRENDOUS. SUMMIT EYE CARE IS WHERE ITS AT.I PAID 320 DOLLARS FOR SOME GOOD GLASSES.AND I CAN READ ANY5HING NOW.

Amy the optician was a huge help. Much more so than my experience last year. She showed me how my insurance was covering parts of my eyeglasses and what i could afford. Not to mention being very helpful selecting my frames and styles of lenses. Big shout out to her!

I had appointments scheduled to bring my kids in for a yearly exam tomorrow. Lori called today
and informed me that they don’t see children as young as my daughter (5 years old) and that she couldn’t make an exception. She was very rude and condescending, and got even more rude on the phone when I told her to cancel my sons appointment as well. If I can’t bring one of them, I’m not gonna bring the other one. She has glasses and has had several eye exams previously, so I’m not sure what the issue is, or why it allowed me to book an appointment and wait a week until they decided they couldn’t see her. We have bought their glasses here for years but the eye doctor will never be getting any of my money again. Very dissatisfied. At least if you’re in the wrong, talk nicely on the phone and not be as rude as Lori was.
I will say that Molly the manager is very kind and always willing to help.

I was scheduled for a 1:20 appointment. The exam started at 1:37. After the first part of the exam I was informed that the doctor would probably want to dialate my eyes. However, I could pay an extra fee, not covered by insurance, and have photos taken. I stated I would have dialation as it would be covered by insurance. I was then informed by the tech that dialation would interfere with their lunch so I would need to come back after their lunch to finish the exam. I would look for an eye doctor who puts their patients eye care above their lunch!
Follow up - I went to the link provided and was ensured that the manager would reach out within 5 days. Guess what, no one reached out, I'm not surprised. I would definitely find a better place for eye care here in Toledo. There are many!

Stacie made me feel welcome and helped choose some glasses that suite me
Taking your child to an optometrist for an eye exam is the best way to learn if your child needs glasses. Many children who need glasses aren’t aware that they do. Signs of vision problems in children include sitting too close to the television, squinting, sensitivity to light, difficulty with eye-hand coordination, and avoiding visual activities like reading and drawing. To see if your child needs glasses, schedule your child’s eye exam today.
Is a contact lens exam different than an eye exam?
A normal, comprehensive eye exam will allow your optometrist to determine if your eyes are healthy enough to wear contact lenses. During your contact lens fitting, detailed measurements of your eyes will be taken to determine the right contact lenses for you. There is an additional fee for a contact lens fitting and evaluation for all contact lens patients (both new and established patients). Schedule your eye exam today to have all of your questions about contact lenses answered.
What is the difference between an eye exam and a vision screening?
A comprehensive eye exam is administered by an optometrist and can detect not only vision problems but problems with eye health and general health as well. A vision screening is typically performed by a general medical practitioner such as a pediatrician or a nurse. While a vision screening can help identify vision issues, it can miss many important issues that a comprehensive eye exam can identify. This is why everyone is encouraged to get annual eye exams. Schedule your eye exam today!
Why should I get an eye exam?
An annual eye exam involves more than just updating your glasses or contact prescription. A comprehensive eye exam can also detect eye health issues as well as general health problems. Conditions such as diabetes and high blood pressure can be detected in early stages through an eye exam, and this can result in early treatment. Schedule your annual eye exam today.
What should I bring to my eye exam?
You should bring your vision insurance and medical insurance information to your eye exam. If you currently wear any prescription lenses, bring your eyeglasses, sunglasses, and contact lenses. You should also bring any and all questions you may have. Contact your optometrist if you have specific questions about any additional items you think you may need to bring to your eye exam.
