  I scheduled my MRI at Sugarcreek 3 weeks before the appointment. The Kettering pre-certification department sent the precert request to my insurance for the first time 2 days before my MRI appointment. Ketterings pre-certification department had 3 weeks to send the request to my insurance and waited until just 2 day beforehand, at which point it is too late to be approved in time for my appointment. Now Kettering is telling me that I either need to pay out of pocket for the MRI or reschedule for 1 month from now, which I cannot do. If Kettering had sent the request to my insurance when they were supposed to instead of 2 days beforhand, then I would not be in this mess.

  Dr. Leary was the absolute worst to work with. I had to see her because my preferred doctor didn't have any available appointments the day I needed. It was obvious she hadn't read my chart before coming in, her comments about me and my PREGNANT body were fat-phobic, and I felt so, so terrible about myself by the time I left. I understand doctors giving advice for living a "healthier" life but the advice should NOT be given with condescension or shame. And should only be given if you understand the complete history of the patient. I will now be going out of my way to avoid her and visiting a different clinic entirely.

  Other offices treated me like just another patient didn't try to get to know me. Dr. Bates asks about details of my life she has remembered. Great care is taken here.
