Rachel is incredibly friendly, beyond helpful and accommodating, knowledgeable and skilled. She went above and beyond to help my mother with her glasses. I will forever book appointments here and purchase frames, sunnies, etc. Highly recommend. Tell a friend to tell a friend. Thank You Rachel & crew for top tier service ❤️

LensCrafters St. Clairsville, OH mall was extremely busy when my husband & I arrived. I had an RX from my own doctor. The reason I selected LensCrafters was purely due to my insurance dictating where I could shop since I retired. Most of my choices through my insurance were on-line services but I did not want to attempt that experience since I had progressives. I took my time going through the entire selection and asking my husband what he liked on me. I made 3 selections. By this time, an employee asked me to have a seat but she also asked another lady what she needed. I knew the answer as I had heard her request an adjustment earlier and she had said she would try it by walking around the mall and if she needed it adjusted more she would be back. I told the employee to wait on her first. When the employee was finished with that customer she directed me again to a chair. She was absolutely the best! She was thorough and asked me questions which was followed with explanations. She took her time and then when it came to the insurance she tried to show me ways that it could be cheaper as I was concerned. She was so good at keeping her attention on ME even though I knew deep down she was anxious about all the other customers who were waiting. She held it together and was extremely professional never blaming anyone for the long wait. Together we determined that my insurance was charging more for the transitions which I still decided to purchase because my current glasses were transitions and I thought it best not to give them up. She could not have treated me better and I am a very happy customer so far even though I have not received my glasses yet as they had to be ordered. I hope this employee is there when I return for the fitting!!! She is a wonderful representative for your company!

The gentleman who works at St Clairsville Oh Lens Crafters is Awesome! He is very helpful and personable. I recommend him to help you more than the lady that works there. She tried to charge me $1700 for glasses with insurance. I left and came back some time later and met with the guy who helped me get my glasses for under $200 out of pocket with insurance.

My fiancé had an appointment during the 2nd week of December and the staff was friendly and quick. The contacts he ordered arrived within the shipping window, but only for one eye. We called and kept being told that we would receive a call back when they figured out a solution. After 4 interactions with the front desk and no calls back over the course of 3 weeks, we finally got connected with an employee who worked hard to find a solution. The younger woman was great on the phone and super helpful, kind, and patient. Another staff member (female, older sounding) was rude and would completely cut you off over the phone during all conversations on various occasions. Happy we have (hopefully) finally received the contacts for his other eye that were missing, but frustrated it took 5 conversations with front desk representatives (all with 2-3 days in between each) to be resolved.

Great experience with the store. Had to wait just a little while while they were helping other customers, once it was my turn Peggy was wonderful. Her suggestions helped narrow down the decision for my glasses. So professional and caring. Will ship again when needed.
Taking your child to an optometrist for an eye exam is the best way to learn if your child needs glasses. Many children who need glasses aren’t aware that they do. Signs of vision problems in children include sitting too close to the television, squinting, sensitivity to light, difficulty with eye-hand coordination, and avoiding visual activities like reading and drawing. To see if your child needs glasses, schedule your child’s eye exam today.
Is a contact lens exam different than an eye exam?
A normal, comprehensive eye exam will allow your optometrist to determine if your eyes are healthy enough to wear contact lenses. During your contact lens fitting, detailed measurements of your eyes will be taken to determine the right contact lenses for you. There is an additional fee for a contact lens fitting and evaluation for all contact lens patients (both new and established patients). Schedule your eye exam today to have all of your questions about contact lenses answered.
What is the difference between an eye exam and a vision screening?
A comprehensive eye exam is administered by an optometrist and can detect not only vision problems but problems with eye health and general health as well. A vision screening is typically performed by a general medical practitioner such as a pediatrician or a nurse. While a vision screening can help identify vision issues, it can miss many important issues that a comprehensive eye exam can identify. This is why everyone is encouraged to get annual eye exams. Schedule your eye exam today!
Why should I get an eye exam?
An annual eye exam involves more than just updating your glasses or contact prescription. A comprehensive eye exam can also detect eye health issues as well as general health problems. Conditions such as diabetes and high blood pressure can be detected in early stages through an eye exam, and this can result in early treatment. Schedule your annual eye exam today.
What should I bring to my eye exam?
You should bring your vision insurance and medical insurance information to your eye exam. If you currently wear any prescription lenses, bring your eyeglasses, sunglasses, and contact lenses. You should also bring any and all questions you may have. Contact your optometrist if you have specific questions about any additional items you think you may need to bring to your eye exam.
