- JLJohn LeesAug 25, 20251.0March of 2024 this dentist performed a root canal on #19. Approximately 8 months later a pustule appeared on the side of my gums, just below this cap. It was apparent that an infection had set in on this tooth. Just prior to my normal cleaning schedule in February, I was informed that the office was closing indefinitely, for unknown reasons. I immediately sought the services of another dentist. Upon his examination, it was deemed that the tooth needed retreated, and an endodontist would be best for this. So after a year, the tooth was retreated by an endodontist, that upon completion stated the tooth had 3 roots treated, with 1 treated only 3/4’s of its length , and a 4th root was found that was not treated at all. Endodontist stated that these were probably the reasons that the root canal failed. 5 months later, I have had no problems whatsoever with the retreated tooth. Also, while the original dentist was preparing the tooth for the cap, he accidentally nicked the flesh in my mouth, causing some excessive bleeding. He blamed it on me swallowing during the procedure. Swallowing can be an involuntary reaction when someone is working in your mouth. I understand accidents happen, but don’t blame me. I’m sure I’m not the first person that has swallowed while you were working in their mouth. Found all the employees to be very pleasant to work with.llll
