- GBGary BerndtDec 19, 20245.0Home Instead rescued us because we had to go back home to North Carolina on Sunday. We had been trying to convince Dad he couldn’t stay by himself. Late Friday he agreed. We called Home Instead on Saturday and Betty Phillips came and started a caregiver on Sunday when we had to leave. Caregivers came to the house daily and took care of Dad. They got to know him and catered to his requests and needs. He enjoyed having them around. I would highly recommend Home Instead. They were a lifesaver to us especially because we lived out of state. However even if you live in town this quality of care is outstanding for your loved ones.
