Once you spend your money,$$ there's no access back to the company, unless of course you want to spend more$$. They do not answer your calls, they don't know answers to questions without going to the technical support and then technical support never gets back to you. I've been dealing with them for 5 years and I cringe when I have to call. As a matter of fact no one knows the answer. So I have to drive 30 mi to the store to ask a question and even then I have to wait 45 minutes to an hour. I finally figured it out that the technical department is very lack. There might only be one person back there. They just don't answer your questions so you're stuck with this machine. If you have a question. Too bad

I've worked with them for years only because my insurance only allows for them and one other company. I've been using my old wheelchair for almost a year because the wheels they delivered (4 months later) did not fit, would fall out, now we're 10 months in. Terrible service, look elsewhere if you can.

Our clients have mobility challenges and are referred to us by therapists and physicians to receive mobility solutions that meets all their unique needs. If you need a wheelchair, your best plan is to talk with your physician or therapist and get a thorough evaluation from a qualified Rehab Technology Supplier (RTS).

Are there any dangers in using an off-the-shelf wheelchair?
Definitely. A standard or not customized chair can cause more harm than good. People come in all shapes and sizes; their chairs must be designed to fit them. In severe situations, a standard or not customized chair may:
- Cause significant physiological and psychological problems
- Lead to an increase in dependence because it’s not used due to lack of comfort
- Cause pressure sores, or decubitus, due to improper cushioning
- Become obsolete quickly if not configured to “grow with the child”
- Become a major expense to replace or reconfigure, because most funding sources will only reimburse for a new chair every five years.
