I hardly ever leave reviews but I felt compelled to. I walked in to get my sunglasses repaired and somebody greeted me immediately with a smile and fixed my glasses in about 5 minutes, free of charge. Mind you, I didn’t even buy the sunglasses from them and they fixed them without question. Thanks!!

I bought new glasses at this store 2 weeks ago, went back to the store with a problem. I talked to the store manager Gary and had my problem resolved in minutes. Now a days there isn’t very good customer service, but this manager and store was awesome! Strongly recommend!!!

I came into this store shopping for glasses with my 4 year old daughter. I was told it was okay to look around, the drawers may have more options in colors/whatnot. My daughter was helping me, having fun with me. She was not being disruptive by any means. There is a display in the middle of the room, with drawers. Apparently one that has a lock wasn’t locked. My daughter curiously opens a drawer. I turned to her and told her to close it, we can’t go through those and she did. Before she could finish an older female employee YELLED across the room at my daughter with other customers and told her not to go through the drawers. The way this employee handled it was incredibly rude and uncalled for. My daughter was upset, scared and crying due being yelled at by a stranger for no reason. I took my box of glasses and set them at the counter and explained I will not be getting anything as this was completely uncalled for. The gentleman stated he was sorry and he understood. She wasn’t hurting anyone, bothering anyone or damaging anything. I will never shop there again. No one should be treated that way, epically a child.

I normally don’t leave reviews, but I feel compelled to speak up about the repeated mistreatment I experienced at this LensCrafters location. On two separate occasions, I was treated with blatant disrespect by an older Caucasian man who claimed to be the manager but refused to provide his name. My most recent interaction involved a simple phone call to check on two things: when my insurance benefits would be released after returning glasses, and when my refund would appear on my debit card. Rather than help, this man raised his voice, spoke over me, and talked down to me in a demeaning and aggressive tone. I remained polite and asked to speak with a manager — he said he was the manager. I then asked for the corporate number to report my experience, and he outright refused before abruptly hanging up on me. I tried calling back several times, but he never answered. Sadly, this wasn’t the first time I was humiliated by him. During a previous visit to pick up my glasses, he also spoke to me rudely and dismissively. At that time, I gave him the benefit of the doubt, assuming he might be having a bad day. But after this second experience, it became clear that his behavior toward me was not only unprofessional, but targeted and consistent. I can’t help but feel that his treatment of me was racially motivated. I have never been spoken to in such a degrading way in any customer service setting in my life. No one deserves to be treated with that level of verbal disrespect — especially not from someone representing a brand that prides itself on care and professionalism. I hope LensCrafters takes this seriously and looks into who they are putting in positions of authority. If this person is allowed to continue treating customers this way — especially if it involves discrimination — it speaks volumes about the culture being allowed at this location.

Frequently Asked Questions About LensCrafters

How do I know if my child needs glasses?

Taking your child to an optometrist for an eye exam is the best way to learn if your child needs glasses. Many children who need glasses aren’t aware that they do. Signs of vision problems in children include sitting too close to the television, squinting, sensitivity to light, difficulty with eye-hand coordination, and avoiding visual activities like reading and drawing. To see if your child needs glasses, schedule your child’s eye exam today.

Is a contact lens exam different than an eye exam?

A normal, comprehensive eye exam will allow your optometrist to determine if your eyes are healthy enough to wear contact lenses. During your contact lens fitting, detailed measurements of your eyes will be taken to determine the right contact lenses for you. There is an additional fee for a contact lens fitting and evaluation for all contact lens patients (both new and established patients). Schedule your eye exam today to have all of your questions about contact lenses answered.
