  I visited with my daughter after she cut her fingers, and the response from the front desk was very disappointing. The staff informed us that the emergency department would not open until 6:00 and did not offer any assistance or even help to clean her bleeding wound. We then went to the Kroger Clinic in Mason, where the nurse practitioners immediately cleaned her wound and advised us to go to Cincinnati Children’s Hospital in Liberty Township. When someone arrives with an emergency, it is the basic responsibility of healthcare staff to show concern and provide at least initial support rather than turning them away due to timing.

  I truly had a terrible experience with Dr. Reeves and this facility. I brought my daughter in for a serious vaginal infection, and after waiting hours for what was supposed to be an emergency visit, Dr. Reeves rushed in, never introduced himself, and made no effort to make my daughter feel safe or comfortable. The exam turned into holding her down while she screamed, which was extremely traumatic. Another doctor even walked in and asked if he needed help, but Dr. Reeves then left and never returned. I overheard nurses saying, “They left forever ago,” while I was still waiting for discharge papers. When I asked questions, staff lied and told me Dr. Reeves was “out of the area,” only for him to suddenly show up and confront me in front of the entire hospital. This was unprofessional, distressing, and unacceptable care. My daughter’s condition now requires months of estrogen treatment with NO explanation and yet we were treated with complete disregard and dishonesty. The experience caused me so much stress that I had a panic attack after leaving. We will never return.
