  Wife had taken our 2 older children in for eye appointments today. She had told the desk no to the $35-$45 retina scan when filling out the intake paperwork, they were taken back for their appointments. My children looked at frames after the appointment and my wife was going through the motions to make the purchase for one/both of my children’s pair of glasses at which point the female assistant store manager whom was helping her had quoted her a price along the lines of $240 after insurance for a single pair of blue light glasses(quoted $45 for the blue light alone). Of coarse she had defaulted the lenses and such to the highest possible quality without discussing it with my wife. After some back and forth, When my wife had informed her that she needed to leave for a family emergency regarding our sick youngest whom is with me at home and needed to checkout. She was not only charged for the retina scan service she declined at the start(they did scan their eyes so we never said a thing about it since it had already happening), they also processed one of my children’s eyeglass pairs and now refuse to refund the eyeglasses themselves just minutes after the purchase went through claiming “no refunds once the order is put in” after she had time to see just what was purchased. I would never recommend this establishment to anyone. I get that you make commissions from sales and upselling and all that. But pushing through services and purchases against the consent of the customer and taking advantage when they’re anxious and then refusing to rectify the issue minutes after the fact, is down right criminal. Enjoy the $45. We will go get proper pairs from target eye or glassesusa.

  I was so pleasantly surprised after taking my 10 year old son for an eye exam. Between insurance and lack of availability at UH, I settled for here. From beginning to end I was so impressed with the way the doctor and tech both communicated with my son, showing patience, empathy and relatability to his age. Thankful we found this place. We are so happy!

  Rude front desk staff with an unorganized office flow. At one point, told we were all set after my son saw doctor and we ordered contacts...only to get a call after leaving advising the doctor wasnt finished seeing him. Returned back and given misnformation about his benefits despite having them verified already. Front desk associate argued me down then proceeded to go get someone else after mumbling she didn't really deal with the "insurance" part of it. Will never return here for eye exams again.
