  Approximately 45 years ago, I had the founder of this practice, Duke Heller, install an implant in my mouth. Approximately one month ago the tooth came loose. I went to my dentist and learned after having an xray that the implant was fine, but my dentist had never seen an implant like mine (understandable given that my implant is older than my dentist) and she wasn’t sure how to reconnect the tooth to the implant. She sent me to an establishment that specializes in implants—that also had never seen an implant like mine. I assumed Dr Heller was retired (he is) but made an appointment at the office he had established, hoping someone would recognize my implant. As Iit turns out Duke’s son, Dr Rob Heller, now works there. Dr Heller immediately recognized the problem (the adhesive holding my tooth to the implant had failed) and immediately resolved my problem that same day. I have no doubt Duke Heller is rightfully proud of the service his son provides and for providing this service in such an exemplary manner. In fact, starting with my initial conversation with the receptionist to schedule an appointment, to my interactions with the various assistants that helped with my situation (turns out gluing that tooth back on involves several steps) , to my conversations with Dr. Heller-every thing and everyone was extraordinary. This is what I call “old school customer service “ but in a modern setting.!

  Admittedly, I haven't yet had the work done. But so far, my experience with this organization has been amazing. I’ve had a ton of dental work due to a childhood accident. Many root canals and crowns, so I know a good dentist! Dr. Heller was by far the most thorough dental professional ive ever seen. He walked me through my X-rays in much detail and patiently answers every question I had. We were planing on a 4/16 surgical tooth extraction with a temporary affixed bridge when I was told a 4/2 opening came about. Initially, they couldn’t make it happen as the manufacturer who makes the bridge needed at least a week. So I left and went on my marry way. On my way home, the office called. The has another conversation with the bridge provider and somehow got them to turn it around by Thursday (usually takes 2-3 weeks!). I was elated as A. I’m a singer and my teeth are critical to my singing but B. This infection is getting worse and worse (delays getting in for options everywhere). So the thought of waiting another 2 weeks for the surgery was rally stressful. We will see how everything else goes but this far, super impressed and confident I chose the right oral surgeon.

  I’m very happy with the results of getting my single ceramic implant. I was born without a permanent tooth. So only had a baby tooth. I was told by my regular dentist that by the time I was 50 I would need a dental implant. I have a nickel allergy was nervous about getting a titanium implant & getting a reaction. The ceramic one is more expensive but worth the piece of mind I won’t have a reaction.
