  My insurance covers xrays with my plan. I called the hospital and confirmed with location before going in but now they billed it as hospital charge which is not covered by my insurance. I was given wrong information by kettering staff.

  I've had a few surgeries in my life. About 5 years ago I had one here at Kettering main campus. I was terrified, the most scared I've ever been in my life. I was shaking so hard it felt like the entire room was shaking. The team that performed my operation were absolutely amazing. They did everything they could to make me feel comfortable, they really cared. Some of the best people I've ever met. They saved my life and I will be forever grateful. They're real heros, every single one of them. Anyway, since then I had a daughter who is now almost 3. She wouldn't be here without the work they did. I wish I could do more to thank them.

  I am writing this as a warning to anyone considering this ER for an emergency. After arriving in such severe pain that I felt I was losing consciousness, I received about four minutes of a doctor’s time, an IV, and a CT scan. The diagnosis? A kidney stone that I was told would 'pass on its own.' The price for that 120-minute stay was $13,601.99. Even with 'good' insurance, I am being charged $4,500 out of pocket. That is a mortgage-sized penalty for a medical condition that required zero surgery and minimal intervention. My parents didn't take us to the doctor much as kids because we couldn't afford it; now I see that nothing has changed. This isn't just 'the cost of healthcare' - it’s a systemic shakedown of patients at their most vulnerable. If you have any other option, go elsewhere. No one should be charged $13k to be told to 'go home and wait.

  If I could give this hospital system 10 stars I would! Everything is clean and well kept. The hospital looks brand new. The labor and delivery team are amazing people. My daughter’s delivery nurse Whitney is such an angel. She truly made our lives easy. She saw us through the process and made it seem easy. The mom and me rooms are gorgeous and spacious. The food has been excellent according to my daughter. Thank you for a great experience!

  I have never had to write a review for Kettering hospital.They would not have even got one star. I came to the emergency room february fourth , excruciating back pain l one through L5.\nBulging and herniated disk it's all documented on my chart through gettering hospital. Lay there for an hour and a half they come in and put gel on my stomach and a little handheld ultrasound.I guess they were looking to see if it was a boy or girl. Mind you i see catering brain and spine right across the street, i go to pain clinic , having injections done in my back sycamore hospital injections in my back. Then a half hour later , they come and say they're going to skip the imaging and give me tylenol for the pain. I have had every test I ultrasound , x rays done. Oh here's another 1 for you. They had me pee in a cup now.Please let me know what the hell that has to do with l one through l five on your lower spine i call patient relations, and they said they would get back with me.So in other words , it just goes in one ear and out the other. I would not complain, I would not care but I was diagnosed in 2023 end-stage COPD needtotal hip replacement practically had to crawl to the door of the ER And that's how I was treated. I would not recommend the e r hospital for anything
