Having to stop at a kiosk and be asked what my preferred language is while my head is split open needing stitches has to go to be the poorest care of a patient I have ever witnessed. Im at the emergency room because I have a major head injury why would I want to take 10 minutes to play with your tablet.

I've been to this ER multiple times for several different medical issues. One of them life threatening and the team of Doctors and nurses waiting for me when EMS rushed me here lights and sirens the entire way. I had a a "cardiac event" SVT my heart rate sky rocketed to 200+ beats per minute and my BP was very high as well. They were trying to restart my heart with I.V. medication in the ambulance and the ER and they were giving me one last dose and were going to have to shock me if it didn't work. Thankfully the final dose worked. The entire ER staff was incredible at Fort Hamilton.
But I was in there Monday evening just this week because I fell and I literally knocked myself out. I still have absolutely no memory of how or why I fell. I also hurt my hand and thought it was fractured. Unfortunately, the first thing I said to the lady at the check-in desk was I fell and hurt my hand and then said I thought I had a concussion as well and that I completely blacked out and had no memory of why or how I fell and also said when I tried to get up I kept falling back down like my legs just wouldn't work basically. I also mentioned I've had 3 or 4 concussions before this one. Somehow she didn't include ANYTHING about the highly likely TBI and once I finally saw and got the attention of any nurse or medical professional whatsoever she was dumbfounded when I explained I had a head injury as well. I never saw a Doctor or even a Nurse Practitioner. I had no nurse. The only time a nurse came in the room was to give me my discharge papers. My "Provider" was a P.A. and they didn't do a CT Scan of my head. They didn't even do the basic Eye Tracking test! I've had Concussion/Post Concussion symptoms all week and they aren't subsiding. This was the worst experience I've ever had at any ER when a TBI is involved. They totally dropped the ball and that's frankly dangerous and unacceptable.

I had caught "COVID" and they ask me if I've been vaccinated and I said"No". And the "Doc" at the time said he could treat my husband and I with the same kind of treatment. That it was and antibody that run for 1 hour though a IV. And then they would have to watch us for an hour after. And so that's what we did and he said that we would start to feel better in 24 hours. Listen people he lied straight to our faces. If anything it made things worse. The body aches, headaches, I mean everything hurt worse. We are just lab rats to most of these doctors. When I say this COVID is the worst ever I've been though believe me it felt like I was dying and I wanted it to hurry up and do so just so the sickness would 🛑. I never want to experience this ever in my life again. I still can't taste anything smell anything. I've been retested and everything negative "which is Great". I'm starting to feel like myself a little more every day. Said they were seeing a lot more deaths in elderly and overweight people. From this "COVID". If I can answer anyone question about how I felt or what I went through with the COVID I'll try to answer your question if you want to ask me . Stay safe out there.
