I am extremely disappointed. Worst hospital I think I’ve ever heard of. My best friend is pregnant. She came in because she was bleeding. Instead of checking to see if baby was alright, the doctor began to berate her while she was literally bleeding on the floor. They refused to give her IV, in which she was extremely dehydrated with how much blood loss there is. The dr began to yell at her and tell her she was miscarrying without checking to actually see if something was wrong. Josie Maoine-McMahon MD is extremely heartless. Your job is to help people. Your job is to be honest, but NOT HATEFUL. Why are you in this field if you’re going to treat your patients the way you did?

The nurses are EXTREMELY rude. My grandpa is supposed to be transferred to a facility for physical therapy for two weeks. He has asked when he is going to be transferred and the nurse said, "How many times do I have to tell you? You will know when I know." That is NOT how you treat a 79-year-old man who JUST lost his wife in December and is going through something medically. My grandpa is a very sweet man and does NOT deserve to be treated like this. This isn't the first instance of nurses being rude to any of my family, either. I have been treated nastily myself when there, my sister was laughed at because she was drunk and broke her wrist, the way we were told seizures "Just happen" when my grandma went into the ICU (she died a couple of weeks later)... I could go on. This is the most unprofessional staff I have ever come across. I know this isn't a representation of all of the nurses at this facility, but it's enough to where I'm questioning the professionalism of this hospital.

This hospital does not care about their patients and allow doctors to harm their patients and cause extreme emotional distress. Thank Dr McIntosh for the new injury and PTSD. Come to this hospital if you want be hurt not helped.

Dr McIntosh is the worst most heartless physician I have ever met. He needs his license revoked or Kettering needs to do themselves a favor and get rid of this vile man.

Courtyard Cafe
eople alive, Fort Hamilton Hospital hits it out of the ballpark with their courtyard cafe.
I expected the usual.
A plain hamburger with a slap of American cheese, some overcooked mashed potatoes and options of Ramen noodles.
Not a the Fort.
At the cafe you will feel like you are at a 5 star restaurant (that you couldn’t afford).
Here’s the best news… you’re not.
You are at a hospital cafeteria that is, not only affordable but offers quinoa!!!
The Quinoa tops the stuffed mushroom that they offer for 4:49.
You might as well get the garlic Parmesan green beans as a perfect side item.
And as excited as I got about the quinoa and the mushroom, I got even more excited when I realized at the end of the line they had ….
Brisket!!!!!
The brisket comes with all the fixins!!!!!
The bbq sauce, Texas toast, Saratoga chips, onion rings. Etc.
All of the Brisket goodness is only 8.99.
A shout out to Sade for making my day with quinoa and brisket.
Another shout out goes to Jeffrey for serving it up.
That being said, head up to The Courtyard
Cafe for your next date night.
You won’t be dissapointed.
