I wanted to give a shoutout to Club Pilates Grandview! I recently had an MRI and learned I have a meniscus tear. Since then I have taken classes from Tabby, Anja and Sonia. They have been amazing offering me modifications as well as letting me know if there's something I should not do. Thanks so much to these amazing instructors for your help! All the instructors at this location are awesome. Not only that, but Meghan and Ariana, the people I normally interact with at the front desk, are SO FRIENDLY and helpful. What a GREAT Club Pilates location! Sally Ferlmann

I signed up for Club Pilates Grandview’s 8-pack at $199/month, excited to become a regular at the Tuesday/Thursday 5:30 a.m. classes that fit my busy schedule. I noticed those early classes had a waitlist when I joined, but the staff assured me that after my first month, I’d be able to get into them more consistently. That worked for about two weeks near the end of my first month — but when my passes renewed on the 21st, I ended up back on the waitlist because renewals happen less than two weeks before classes open for booking. Early classes typically fill up about two weeks in advance, and if your pass hasn’t renewed yet, you can’t reserve a spot until later — which means you’re often waitlisted. You might get in if someone cancels, but sometimes you won’t know until right before class, which can make for an early wake-up without a guaranteed spot. When I called to discuss this with management, they explained that my options were to upgrade to the unlimited plan for $259/month or remain on the 8-pack with limited access. Since that was a $60/month difference, we mutually agreed to end my three-month commitment so I could find a studio that better fits my schedule. It’s truly a shame, because the instructors are excellent and I was seeing great results. However, if you need early-morning classes and plan to stay on the 8-pack, be aware that consistent access can be challenging.
