Got an appointment a few days before Christmas knowing that my knuckle had swollen due to a gout attack. I needed to wrap presents and was looking for some short term relief like a cortisone shot or some colchicine. I got three X-rays and a diagnosis of gout in my knuckle and a $241 bill. No shot, no non-narcotic pills, just someone who regurgitated exactly what I told them.
Complete waste of time and money. I paid the bill and will never go back to this group again.

I’ve been a patient for over 15 years. 2 carpal tunnel surgeries, a finger joint repair and a thump reconstruction as well as ongoing hand injections for arthritis. Dr Cook and his PA’s have been great but recently the scheduling and front desk aren’t very good. I called for an appointment for severe arthritis pain needing an injection. I was only going to be in town a short time and they couldn’t accommodate me for a 5 minute injection. Additionally they failed to call back twice. I’m finding a new practice that values patients.

My son fractured his ankle and needed surgery. Dr Huff was recommended to us and am so glad he was. He did an excellent job explaining the fractures and how he would fix them in our initial visit. Dr Huff explained his reasoning for wanting to wait about a week for surgery. Nothing was done without a thorough explanation. He is very conscientious and was thoughtful about the best way to fix the bones. Day of surgery, he talked with us before and after surgery and once again explained everything so well!! Dr. Huff did a wonderful job on fixing my son's ankle and has excellent bedside manners!!! I would highly recommend!

I waited weeks for an appointment with this practice for an arm injury. I have been seen here previously and, at that time, I specifically called ahead to confirm whether my daughter could accompany me. I was told this was acceptable, with the only restriction being that she could not be present during X-rays. During that prior visit, she waited briefly in the consultation room while I stepped out for a 2-minute X-ray, without issue.
Today, I arrived for my scheduled appointment with my daughter and was met with shock and disapproval from the front desk. I was told their policy had “changed,” and that Dr. Gowda would not allow my daughter in the consultation room at all. I was given two options: leave my daughter alone in the waiting room or reschedule my appointment.
Because I had already waited weeks to be seen, I made the very uncomfortable decision to leave my child alone in the waiting area.
I have never felt so uncomfortable or unwelcome at a medical practice. This is not a family-friendly office, and parents should be clearly warned ahead of time if children are not permitted, especially when prior visits and phone confirmations have indicated otherwise.
Shame on this office for how this situation was handled. I will not be returning for care.

Do you require referrals?
We want to eliminate any delays in getting you the help you need, which is why you can see our doctors without a referral from your primary care physician or other doctor.
