  If I could give this facility zero stars I would. To say they couldn’t care less is an understatement. Save your time, co-pays, worries and go somewhere else to seek medical attention. My minor son was sick, I called for an appointment, was told we had to wait five days for a sick appt., never heard of that in my life. So we waited as his symptoms weren’t critical. Then went to the appointment with a Nurse Practitioner. Even though I wanted to set up primary care with one of the doctors in the office. Misdiagnosed his first visit, and the prescription was never called in to the pharmacy. When I called Southwoods to ask about it I got, “What prescription?” Went back for a second appointment two days later because symptoms worsened, had a swab sent to the lab. Was called the next day with a diagnosis. Learned from a Nurse Practitioner friend that type of diagnosis requires a blood test, no blood was drawn.. The following week called again to request an appt. for the same illness and requested to see the doctor and not the nurse practitioner. Was told the Dr didn’t have any appointments available and “They will call me back.” I took my child to a pediatric ER that day. I would never suggest this establishment to anyone.

  Very poor service today 08/14/2024. I should not have to wait to see a Dr over 2 hrs when I had a appointment at 11:00AM and was told at 11:40 I would not be out of there by 12:30PM. I work to and had to use my time to come there that I earn at work. I will be finding a new Dr. I love Dr Crowl, but this is no way of running a business. And this is not the first time this has happened to me over there. Thank you Tammy Briceland.

  Waited for an hour and a half in the waiting room. Then finally got called back 5 mins before they closed. The "Dr" then went on to tell me she was stumped about my son's rash and slapped a random diagnosis on it to push us out the door. And I know it was random, because she admitted that his symptoms don't match that diagnosis but she doesn't know what it could be so I should take him to his pediatrician tomorrow. Also, would like to add that the receptionist was extremely unprofessional and thought it was smart to call Southwoods maintenance men dumb by saying "we would be lucky if those maintenance guys could find our front door" to a patient in front of everyone. I sure hope they can get this new place running smoother and maybe find more respectful employees to hire there.
