My mom was in this facility 2 times in less than 2 months . Mom said the food was good. The some of the cna was good to go her . There was a night cna was great and treated with respect and kindness . The housekeeping dept was good . The day shirt nurses were good Jerri and Stacy . The therapy department was great .
My mom started having really bad heartburn that she never had a day in her life for 4 to 5 days she was showing signs of a possible heart attack . .She was always up and ready for therapy. On March 3 2026 she was in bed when I got there that was not like her to be in bed . The OT Therapist came in and got her up and all she managed to do was brush her teeth and wash her face . Then wanted to be put back to bed . Though out the day she was sleeping when she was awake she could not carry on a conversation with me . When her dinner i had to wake her up she was awake enough for me to feed het dinner. I told the nurse i wanted her to be sent out to the Er and then the DON came in and told me they don’t send out residents to the hospital for heart burn . I said that there was something wrong with her. Unfortunately on march 4 2026 my mom was found blue and not breathing . They night supervisor called me and at 6:54 am and told me that my mother coded and the EMT was working on her . When i asked her if they was going to be taken her to the hospital she told me no . Then at 7:45 they called me and asked if she had any funeral arrangements or funeral home pick out then I asked why did she pass away then she proceeded to put me on hold then after a few minutes she came back to the phone and said that your mom passed away . At 7:15 am. When one of her family members arrived at the facility and was asking what happened and the night supervisor came down and when the family member was asking the questions she was looking at the floor when i arrived at facility myself and my uncle was trying to get to what really happened if they did there 2 hour checks on residents this may have turned out better then in this case myself and my family lost a important part of our lives. . If l would have did more research on this facility when the
hospital said they had a bed for my mom .
If you value your family member or yourself I would do research on a nursing facility before you decide to place a loved one in a nursing facility. If I had advocated more for my mother she still may hear with her family.
Her daughter and grandson and family is lost for words. This could have been a different outcome if management had did what i requested them To do!
I believe this facility could do a better job on checking on there residents . I was there every day There was only 2 aids that would come in a check on her though out the day. I believe since i was there all day they figured i would say thing which i did! I know my mother was a handful at times but she was still a resident that should have been treated with respect! . I know they were busy at times but no one should have to wait 45 minutes for a call light To be answered ! . This is how residents can became in destress easily .I have never seen a nursing home that does send the patients out to follow up appointments. If the resident wants to go the family member have to take them or the resident has to pay for there own transportation ride out of there pocket . That can get costly if they have many appointments. All I can say is do YOUR research before placing a family member or friend in this facility .

My father had a wonderful caring experience during his short term rehab stay. The nursing team was very kind and proactive to his needs. The physical therapist motivated him to achieve his mobility and strength.

Last Saturday our usual breakfast restaurant was closed, so we went to the club and were very happy with the food and the service we received. We expect to return to the club for diner more frequently, in addition to to getting food carry out, as we have done in the past.

During my stay the all of staff that took care of me were very professional and nice and treated me with respect. Even though I was there for a short time , I would recommend it.
