- NSNatalie SelmanSep 16, 20251.0I'm not usually rattled, but today I had the most unpleasant experience at the planet fitness on colerain av, with whom I believe to possibly be the owner. I attempted to use the barbell in the corner on the floor to do standing thrust. I've noticed this bar being used in this area several times before. As I'm working out, I noticed an older gentleman taking photos of the set up and then proceeded to walk away UNTIL he saw "me" walk back over. He then asked in an aggressive manner if I was going to pay for his wall as he pointed at the wall. I said I'm sorry sir, but those scratches were already there and that I'm not the 1st to use this bar in this area. He then says to me in a scolding tone "this is not what the bar is used for" and proceeded to break down my set up. I then apologized and told him " I got it. I'll put it back". He responded 🗣 " I got it too!" as he proceeded to rack the bar, as if I were a child! I had no problem with the gentleman asking me not to lean the bar against the wall, but the way he spoke to me and the embarrassment that he caused was unacceptable and a little scary. I was so shaken up that I could not complete my workout and left! This man was RUDE! He walked around not smiling, not speaking to customers ,but instead making ppl, including myself feel unwelcomed! How you speak and treat customers makes a difference in your business! I am a loyal paying customer, and I have been a customer since they've opened. It saddens me, but this may have been my last day there. I am disgusted and very disappointed! Please do better and treat EVERYONE with respect! God bless!
