Unfortunately, this visit fell short. When I walked in, there were several staff members behind the counter talking among themselves. No greeting, no acknowledgment — it didn’t feel like the warm environment I’ve come to expect. I went to use one of the massage chairs, but the room had a strong odor that lingered the entire time. It made the experience far from relaxing, because I couldn’t stop wondering where the smell was coming from — the chair, the room, or something else. When I left the massage area, I realized the odor carried into the main gym as well. This location has potential, but cleanliness and atmosphere are just as important as the equipment. A little attention to those basics, plus more engaged front-desk service, would go a long way toward restoring the Planet Fitness standard here.
