  I was in last week to get new glasses. I have purchased from this store several times and love the selection here. The staff are not only knowledgeable about all of their eyewear, but they have always helped with selecting the right style and shape that is best for me. I get compliments all the time on my glasses. If you are looking for unique glasses, this is the place.

  I drove 2.5 hours to come see their selection, from the Toledo Ohio area. This place has a wonderful selection of frames for all face shapes and artistic styles. I love frames that are not run of the mill that look like everyone else’s. The ladies were super helpful and gave great feedback, and helped me select just the right pair. It was a hard choice, there were at least 4 that were fabulous. The prices were to be expected as these are designer and not the mass box store styles. Each frame is crafted with care and attention to detail and you can feel the quality in the materials. I only bought the frames and will have to get my lenses near my home, so I can’t attest to that. I will be coming back again the next time I have to pass through the Dayton area. What a gem of a shop! Thank you for your expertise.

  So efficient and sweet! Needed new screws on my vintage sunglasses. Not only did they fix the issue quickly, they also gave me complimentary new nose pads.

  Deidre, who has been an associate/employee at Eye1 for as long as my wife and I have shopped there, is outstanding. She is knowledgable, engaging, efficient, charming and so much more, all positive. The owners also go out of their way to make customers content. The store carries unique, niche glasses, costly, and the owners and staff both make sure that the store's service back's up the high quality glasses. David in particular goes the extra mile to make sure that customer's needs are met and that they, ultimately, are happy. Sometimes it takes an extra call to receive detailed attention to an unusual problem. But David is happy to field that call, and to rectify the rare problem when it arises.

  We were looking forward to checking this place out because of the selection they seemed to offer on the web. However, one of the staff was very rude and told us that she had never heard of the brand that we were after, even though it was advertised on their website. Also, she reminded us very rudely that the store's closing time was 6:00 p.m., a fact that we were very much aware of. Not to mention, for their prices, I think they could stand to stick around for another ten minutes to make a sale. An all around bad experience, which is too bad because we like to support local businesses.
